RetroArch on Mister - Update 1.4
-Image snaps now load directly from the zip - no unpacking, no waiting!
-Videos snaps download in the background - this small animated indicators shows you download progress while you browse the frontend
-Smart video snap download resuming - picks up from the last download (stops if you leave frontend/load a game)
If you have the downloader_retroforge.ini on your mister - just run Update_All to update and your done

1. Update_All method - better, easy updates
I don't provide roms - you will need to click here to search for it yourself
“MAME 2003 Plus MiSTer FPGA”
Extract the rom set onto your misters sd card root folder so the roms end up in games/mame2003plus/romshere.zip
For example: games/mame2003plus/aliens.zip
STEP 2 - GET RETROARCH ON YOUR MISTER
Download downloader_retroarchmister.ini only
Extract it to your mister sd card root folder - same place as mister.ini and downloader.ini
Run Update_All
Go to Scripts and run Install_RetroArch.sh - Required
Load RetroForge from the Other folder
Load from mra files directly from Arcade/Meatcores/RetroArch
1. Manual install - suggest deleting games/retroarch folder first

can this front end be used with all cores I just like it for the video snaps I have no intension to use RetroArch at all.
Yes! Big update our soon to make it more of an arcade game mister core frontend with optional retroarch
next retroarch core should be final burn neo, it load newer games than 2003 and is faster than current full mame.
It's good but basically all final burn neo games have mister cores, which are better

Just a couple of questions , will the frontend pick up all the games in your libray including hack roms ? Can you just add the front end without downloading all the roms that havent been made for mister ? Will it work on crt ? Thankyou meat.
It picks up all the roms in _Arcade folder plus afew directory levels deep, donit will pick up _Arcade/Meatcores for example or anyone else's. Hack roms i have not implemented or tested anything yet, unsure how they will show. Yep can use frontend just for mister cores, just use the MISTER tab. Big CRT support, including switch res like per game res, 480i mode for vertical games and other games with res to big etc so they appear correct, not perfect yet but close.
