The Lost Castle in Darkmist

Players control the knight as the screen automatically scrolls upward, slashing swords and shooting magic at enemies like slimes, skeletons, living armor, and magicians.

A lot of work was done to make this core as hardware accurate as possible

It was created using SEI-8608 hardware PCB schematics and hardware evidence where available

The game was matched to PCB hardware gameplay footage - see the video above for this core vs PCB gameplay showing perfect scrolling and game speed, see how the branching road has diverged in the MAME version at about 30 seconds into the video while this core retains perfect PCB game speed

How to install

Get downloader_meatcores.ini below and place it in your mister SD card root folder, right next to downloader.ini

Run Update_All then load the games from Arcade/Meatcores

To update Meatcores and get any new games just run Update_All again

If you have downloader_meatcores.ini already just run Update_All then load the games from Arcade/Meatcores
