This ended up pretty much the only way it could have, but it was still a rough ride. I'm hoping for a 1-page epilogue or humorous omake or something like that.
I thinks that she ODed sadly, poor woman i felt bad for her :(
Wait did she die at the end? or she lived with happy with her child?
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective), the scene with her child, Hana, was only a final delusion brought upon by her OD. She's dead.
Congrats on finishing Henshin! It's pretty damn great, hope to see more things like it in the future. Can you help clarify something? If you do release the full book translated/edited, will it count as a tankobon and only eligible for $100 backers?

If I may, I want to ask. What was the whole inspiration for the story of emergence? Did you have one? And did you always want this story to end the way it did?
