Well everyone, our biggest project ever at Custom Modding is finally here: the John Deere Air Seeder!

And we couldn’t let this moment pass without thanking our 70,000 followers on Facebook, where it all started.

We’ll still have a full post covering the 70K milestone and introducing some new projects in the pipeline.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports, shares, comments, suggests and helps push our work forward. You are a huge part of what keeps Custom Modding moving.

Below, we’ve put together a small review so you can see what The Ultimate Air Seeder Pack is all about, especially if you missed the pre-release.

2017 C850 Air Cart

Here we have the good old C850, originally released back in 2017.

For this version, we've improved the model, added more details and new functionalities, along with new, more realistic tire options and new wheel designs.

But this is still the original C850 configuration — the starting point of the series.

This view makes the new Firestone tires even more noticeable. From the front, they have a more squared-off appearance, while from the side, you can clearly see the curvature of the tire profile in its silhouette.

2024 C850T Air Cart

This is the updated C850 model, now featuring the C850T designation.

We've added a new lighting system, including rear lights inspired by John Deere's latest design language, matching the look seen on the X9 and the new 8R.

The American Slow Moving Vehicle sign has also been updated, now featuring LED lights on both ends for an extra touch of realism.

Other than that, the remaining changes are purely visual and cosmetic, focused on improving the overall look and realism of the machine.

2017 1870 Air Hoe Drill - 76ft

Here, we're still talking about the model and product evolution, but the changes are no longer related to the name itself. This is where we move from the 1870 to the P576, reflecting the updated model designation and product evolution.

When it comes to configurations, there are plenty of new options as well, including StarFire. We'll go through more of these options below, along with a video showcasing everything that's coming.

Model Year

One of our most popular features: Model Year.

Beyond realistic pricing based on age and configuration, the selected model year also changes the combine itself.

Choose any model from 2017 through 2026.

Select 2024 or newer, and it automatically becomes the C850T featuring the updated body lighting and other model-year-specific details.

Pricing will also vary significantly, based on real market data collected from platforms like TractorHouse, reflecting actual used equipment values.

All of this, combined with the Model Year system, significantly enhances immersion and brings a new layer of realism into the game.

And of course — any feedback is welcome, especially as we explore something new.

For now, this is represented through dealer-style decals, but this is just the beginning — we plan to expand this concept further.
