A Guide for Those Just Joining Us: H1 2026 & The Mod Queue
Note: All images attached to this post are projects currently in development for the coming months. Some have already been shown, while others have not been revealed yet.
Hey everyone, I’ve been wanting to make a post like this for quite some time, mainly so we can keep it pinned and give everyone who is just joining us a quick overview of what Custom Modding is and how our development queue works.
At the same time, I think it’s important for those who have been following and supporting us for a long time to better understand how we manage to keep so many projects moving at the same time.
And, taking advantage of this week’s controversy, we’ll also talk a little about Patreon.
H1 2026
To talk about the first half of 2026, we need to go back to 2025.
For us, 2025 was a year of learning. We had some major releases, such as the John Deere 561R, but we were still learning how to work with the entire Farming Simulator 25 ecosystem.
We released around 8 to 9 mods, along with countless fixes, updates and a lot of rework. And when it came to converting mods, the process was often even more difficult than starting a project from scratch.
That’s why we consider 2025 our year of knowledge and learning.
In 2026, a lot has changed. New tools and processes have significantly increased our ability to work on both conversions and completely new projects.
The result was already visible in the first half of the year: 12 mods released in just 6 months, an increase of approximately 50% compared to the total number released in 2025.
But this result didn’t happen overnight.
It is a direct result of all the work we put in throughout 2025.
Our expectation is that the second half of 2026 will be even busier. We’re working toward releasing between 15 and 17 new mods, starting with projects such as Versatile and Axial-Flow.
The Mod Queue
This is one of the most important things to understand about how Custom Modding works.
As much as we would love for it to be possible, a mod doesn’t start today and get finished 30 days later.
Between the first development image, posted on Patreon or our social media, and the moment the mod finally reaches ModHub, there can be many, many months of work.
That’s why we work on so many projects simultaneously.
While you’re waiting for the C850/C850T, P576/1870 and all the mods that will accompany this release, we’re already working on projects that won’t be released for several months.
While you’re watching one mod enter testing, we may already be working on another one scheduled for September or October.
And while September and October are being prepared, part of the team is already looking even further ahead.
Today, for example, you may be following a project that will be released in the coming weeks, while here internally we’re already thinking about projects for December.
That’s our queue.
It’s what keeps the wheel turning.
There are many people working on different stages of development, with each project going through modeling, texturing, programming, configurations, testing, fixes, optimization and, finally, ModHub.
That’s why when you see a mod being released, that project didn’t start just a few weeks earlier.
Most of the time, it has already been in development for many months.
And it’s precisely this structure that allows us to work on increasingly larger and more complex projects, while maintaining our goal of delivering polished mods with as few issues as possible, both on PC and console.
At the end of the day, it’s a big cycle.
Thank you to everyone who has been with us for years, and also to everyone who has just joined us.
We still have a lot ahead of us.

Hey just curious if there is any plan to possibly make a 9000 series, like the 9100-9400? I've been desperately waiting for once since 2017 and would love to see one and remember y'all mentioning it in a post a while back and we're wondering if you were making it or not?
Hey, What we produced was the 8000 series: https://prnt.sc/z0BkjVGPnu0U
Penta and 9000 choppers look clean (I have a 8300 irl and dump wagons so im not biased at all) unfortunate about the giants thing though, stay strong Custom!
Actually, there was no problem at all. Everything is fine.
