A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me and my family.
Hello everyone,
Today is a very special day for our whole family. And I want to share it with all of you, who have been supporting and encouraging me and my family. As my brother mentioned before, today our family made the determined decision to mortgage our house and take out a loan so we can build a better home. To give you some context, my brother has been dreaming of doing this for a very long time, right after we managed to pay off our family's previous debt. He has been working so hard, saving up, and trying little by little. He has managed to save about 1/3 of the money needed to build a new house.
After we uploaded our second video, it received so much attention and care from many people. My brother felt that we couldn't let our family continue living in such a space anymore. On top of that, your support ,no matter how big or small has given us a massive push of motivation and the immense confidence needed to make this decision.
We know this might be a risky decision. But my brother said that our parents are getting older—especially our disabled father, who has endured so many hardships in life—and he doesn't want to live with any regrets if something unfortunate were to happen. Therefore, he is willing to accept this risk in exchange for giving our family a better living space for the rest of their lives.
We know and understand that we cannot rely too heavily on YouTube. We just consider it a small pillar of support and a place to share our journey with everyone. I will continue to study hard and work part-time so I can help my family shoulder this debt together.
Instead of using those savings to repair things that were already old and dilapidated, we had to make this risky decision—we knowing that the money had taken a long time to save, and that temporary repairs would likely only offer a short-term fix rather than transforming the entire house. No matter what happens, I believe that if our whole family works together, we can overcome it. I understand that my brother is sacrificing his youth and safety for the peace of mind and easier life of our father. And I am ready to stand by him
I am sharing this so you know just how tremendous and meaningful your support has been as a motivation for our family. Every bit of your support has built a safety net for me to rely on, making me braver because I know I am not alone anymore. Words truly cannot express my gratitude; I just want to say a massive thank you to all of you who are here supporting me. Once again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Good luck on the house. As an electrician, hire the best professionals possible, dont let them skimp on wire size and circuits! And, are you willing to share the cost of building in Vietnam?
Thank you so much for the great advice! We will definitely make sure to hire good professionals and not skimp on the electrical wiring—safety is a top priority for us. Regarding the cost of building in Vietnam, my brother plans to build the house with a maximum budget of 800 million VND (which is roughly around $31,500 USD). That is the absolute limit of what our family can afford right now. Thank you again for your support and for looking out for us!

I am very happy to hear that you have accomplished this for your family. I have two pieces of free advice for you, worth exactly what you paid for it. 1. Ignore people in the comment section who do not have anything nice to say. There are a lot of unhappy people in this world who only get happiness from making others feel bad about themselves. Focus on the positive comments and please do not feel like you have to justify anything to anybody. Just be yourself and keep moving forward with what you are doing. It is amazing! Personally, I am very proud of you for what you are doing and I am very happy to be a very small part of your amazing journey. 2. Regarding the debt. Pay it off as quickly as possible. You will feel the freedom in every breath.

Donors gave funds for a debt-free repair to give your father and family immediate health & safety, not to take on a long-term mortgage. Before committing, please consult a local financial advisor, get an independent quote comparing a full repair versus a rebuild, and set up a dedicated project account with milestone payments and public receipts before any major drawdown. As a business student, you know online income is volatile while bank loans last 10 to 15 years+. If online views drop, student pay and local labor cannot service a mortgage, putting your family at risk. The smartest, most frugal choice is generally to use current funds for a full, debt-free repair and save the rest for your parents' health/lifestyle needs. A simple, paid-for home protects your family far better than a house built on debt. Obviously we do not know if your family own that small town house though. God bless

While he was saving up, he already did a lot of research on material prices, floor plans, and labor costs. Please rest assured that we do not rely too heavily on YouTube income; my brother and I will continue working hard at our outside jobs to manage our finances Also, the current bank interest rates are very low right now, but they are expected to go up in just a few months, which is why we felt we had to make this decision now. We truly appreciate your advice and support as we navigate this!
