Outbreak Scenario 36

You found a well-stocked pharmacy by accident, in a strip mall off Route 9 that somehow missed the early looting. The shelves are still stocked with antibiotics, insulin, and painkillers, after four months of the outbreak. You have been filling your bag for ten minutes when you hear boots on the floor above you. You listen for a few moments and detect actual movement, not the slow dragging of zombie feet. You hear someone move a desk and then some light talking. You count two people, maybe three.

Through a gap in the ceiling tiles, you can see military-grade boots and a rifle barrel sweeping through the space above you.
