LAUNCH!!!!

(Gambler portrait, designed by one of the first Islander who joined the Discord)

Ouf! What a rush! HAHAHA

We were planning a relaxed week after a few months of working late nights and weekends...And then...the tsunami of positive comments or people taking the time to explain their issues with the games rather than delete and move on, really moved us. It was overwhelming, so we pushed through with doing a hotfix and adding a lot of QoL that we thought "It will be fine, we can do it as time goes). So QoL became 40% of the focus rather than 10% of our effort. As indie devs and working with Godot for the first time, we thought we could be lenient a bit, especially adult games are not usually stellar when it comes to "QoL and smooth gameplay. No! Let's have a higher standard for ourselves when it comes to that, it is what the players want, it is what the players should get.

I (Cuddle) was super nervous about being trashed for the AI art and Cute was super nervous about the grammar mistakes. Both...where kind of fine upon reception.

I made a new sprite on paint for Sage, the owl woman and...I think it is...a MASTERPIECE! It makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Cute HATES it! HAHAHA but she has been focused on making the UI art for the astrological table so players can track the affinity/hostility and corruption/purity progression. So no time yet to rework sprites. At some point we had a paid artist but had to leave. Sprite paid artist content is definitively on top of the "to do list".

There is a lot of changes in this next update..A bit over ambitious to try to implement a whole new set of animal (the first sheep) and also a new character (secret character) and everything else all at once, though it has been a fun two weeks doing so. Also looking forward to a more stable workflow.

Finally, I also figured out how to (somewhat) generate more consistently images with more than one character without it looking like a hot mess or generic nonsense. So, we designed our first threesome content and put it in the game! This one is for the utter degenerate freaks out there: THREESOME CUTE CUDDLESS!!!! It is... very, adorable...

Thank you mina-sama!

We look forward to your continued support as we continue moving forward :)
