I really appreciated what Josh said about forgiveness. It’s so true that if you don’t forgive, you get stuck in a prison, unable to move past that point in your life. And that bitterness is a result of that unforgiveness. Also the story of the King stepping in to take the punishment for his daughter.

Something my mother told me… often you’ll come up against more and more obstacles and struggles, betrayals, etc, when you’re on the path God has set for you. The devil will do everything in his power to derail you and turn you off that path. The closer you get to God, the harder the devil will make your life until he learns you can’t be broken. I find comfort in that thought when things get tough.
