I just want to say thank you. The response to the Glacier launch yesterday was unreal, and I hope you’re liking it so far.
We’ve been working on this for about a year. The goal was to make phone privacy simple. You open the app, hit a couple buttons, and you’ve got a VPN, secure DNS, data blocking, and burner numbers.
This started when I looked into the VPN I was using and realized it wasn’t even American. A lot of the big VPNs people trust are owned by a handful of foreign companies, and I had no idea where my information was actually going.
So I teamed up with some former NSA and intelligence guys I trust, and we built our own. My favorite feature is the burner numbers. A store wants your number? Give them a burner. Don’t want someone contacting you anymore? Delete it.
This afternoon, Glacier had already blocked 952 data requests before 3PM That should tell you how much is happening in the background without you knowing it.
We don’t collect your data or activity either. You can verify that yourself in the Apple App Store privacy details.
This isn’t a paid ad. I own part of the company, I use it every day, and I helped build it because I wanted it for myself.

Really stoked to use this Please note: First time opening the app today it appears my account is connected to it. However when turning on VPN thru the app, it sent me to settings and I enabled vpn with glacier, but navigating back to the app suddenly popped up the screen payment screen and now I’m stuck there again.

There are a few things not working like switching off the east coast but I’m sure there will be a few bugs now that it is rolled out. Overall working fairly well. Almost 70 web blockers found in about 5 minutes so that’s interesting.
We’ll get it all worked out and fast.
