WOOHOOO! Josh is my favorite pastor BY FAR! I wish I lived near him but sadly, I do not! Regardless, anytime we get home from church, the first thing I’m turning on is Josh! I absolutely ADORE his wife! Watched all their stuff on marriage and now my daughter who’s 21 and I’m wanting her to date with purpose, she is watching their stuff now too! I CANNOT WAIT to see this podcast!!!

When I listened to Josh’s podcast I got sales pitch my products better vibes. I only listened to a couple so it could definitely be me. But then I read the comment section with bot like phrasing just praising this guy and I’m like “man who sent these people here to comment.” You get what I’m saying. I trust Shawn though. So I’m going to try give it a listen and keep an open mind. I am also a Christian.

Christianity today in our society is very two dimensional. They know about God, but don't dive deeper into understanding God's power and our delegated authority to make disciples and edify the body. You recently mentioned on your Live Free Podcast that - in your experience - the charismatic church has the least attrition because they know God and understand the gifts of the spirit. How do we reach the rest of the Christian communities in a way they will see that it's Scripture and Holy Spirit guided Christianity to accept the gifts of the spirit according to our level of faith and live out Acts within the Body of the church today?
Josh, I really believe that my wife is my soul mate and equal partner in my household. Why does your ministry believe that she is less capable of being a leader in our house or anywhere else by that standard, than any men. Single woman own more houses than men in America and are graduating at a rate of 2 to 1 from college. There are more female CEOs, celebrities, HVNW, influencers and politicians than ever before and the number is just growing at an exponential rate. Isn't this thinking a little out dated?

We often hear a term to describe Christians as "Christian Nationalists" or "Christian Nationalism." How would you explain what Christian Nationalism is?
Can Christians curse? I was always raised that the answer is no. I've heard no from many as well. But I am seeing more and more people who say they are Christians. Yet they curse like a sailor. What scripture do you have that backs up your claim?
Boozhoo(Hello) Pastor Josh, Earlier this year I had the opportunity to drive over an hour to come to one of your Lakepointe Churches to try and have a conversation with you as I am from Kansas. Unfortunately the church I went to had a TV screen with you on it. In John 17 Jesus prayed that His followers would be one, and in Ephesians 2 Paul says that through Christ the dividing wall of hostility has been broken down. Yet today the Church is still deeply divided by denominations, politics, race, and even our history with Indigenous peoples and other communities we've wounded. I believe we're entering a time when God is calling us beyond personal salvation toward national reconciliation and restoration through the circumcision of our hearts. Yeshua said we would know a tree by its fruit. I wonder if we've spent too much time defending our denominations, political identities, and traditions instead of honestly examining the fruit we're producing. What does genuine biblical repentance, reconciliation, and restoration actually look like? Not just for individuals, but for the Church and our nation? What practical steps would you call Christians to take so that reconciliation becomes something we live rather than simply preach, and how do we bear fruit worthy of repentance in a way that the world can actually see? What would it look like for the Church to become known less for what it's against and more for the healing, restoration, justice, and reconciliation that naturally flow from hearts transformed by Christ? Same! I almost went to Mexico for Ibogaine therapy as a last ditch effort, but then Pastor Carlos gave a sermon at Lakepointe 10/2025 that was my turning point and the light bulb finally turned on! ONLY true and full healing comes from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Attending LP and surrendering it all to the Lord at the last night of prayer and worship has broken every stronghold and chain! I am finally healed and never felt more alive! Every battle and outcome belongs to the Lord 🙏✝️
For Shawn: What is it about Stoicism that appeals to your role as an employer, a powerful locus of influence, Patriot, husband, father and loyal friend- that the practice of total surrender and reliance on Jesus doesn't adequately address? Conceding there may be times when being stoic is biblically sound.
For Christians who grew up with a fear-based view of God and struggle with scrupulosity or constant self-examination, how do we learn the difference between conviction from the Holy Spirit and condemnation from our own minds? What does a healthy relationship with God actually look like when you’ve spent years believing He’s disappointed in you?”

I'm especially excited about Lakepointe Church opening a campus in McKinney. My wife and I loved attending North Dallas, but the drive eventually became too much. Even so, we'll always be grateful for how God used that church to help lead us back to Christ and strengthen our marriage. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts tomorrow.
The Bible tells us the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, and soul and with all our mind. And the second is like it, loving our neighbor as ourself. How do we best love our Muslim brothers and sisters like God commands us to when a religion like Islam is in clear opposition to Christianity ?
For Josh: Have you ever had anyone change their beliefs in a false religion (LDS,JW, etc.)-after the first time showing them why- in person?
What does it truly mean to surrender to God, I feel like I've struggled so long with this, and have failed him over and over.
