News (Part 1/2) Leridia & Patrons Content

Dear players,

A new year has begun, and projects are continuing to move forward.

Today I'm going to talk about Leridia and its finalization, as well as the evolution of Patrons content. I'll talk about Cyberslayers in a second part.

LERIDIA 1.0 REMASTER

That's what I call the project, which has now reached three years of "fine-tuning".

The work done so far has been far more ambitious than expected. While it won't be a completely new game, it will be a definitive version with a host of new features, including :

-Remapping of certain locations

- New dungeons

- New characters

- Legendary Monsters (Big Quest during the whole playthrough)

- Addition of various quests

- Pentagram additions

- Global rewriting

- Work on sound and visual immersion, remastering

-Quality of Life elements

All content, including the village of Masa, the Temple, Basin and Barakas (almost), has been revisited with numerous additions.

Horizon 2024

This year, I'm going to attack the whole northern part of the island. I'm happy with the content for the south, which is deeper and more immersive, and I'm going to put the same effort into the north.

Quality of Life - Adding "Save" option during long scenes

This will start at Mountain Pass.

I'll also be diving into improving the whole Underworld to make it more dramatic and immersive, making characters like Lyse and Aria much more endearing.

Bonuses in these areas can't be ruled out, such as new dungeons or small quests.

Finally, I'll be focusing on Lerid, including the Princess mode, which could be further improved.

The remaster will end with a thorough work on the Pentagrams and Brothels events, which are an important part of the game.

Suiko and Sylia will have a whole brand new quest together in Kooma Island (Barakas)

No set date, but ongoing background work

I know this version has been years in the making. Cyberslayers has become the priority, but if you follow the discord and the #wip you'll see that I've never oh so never given up on Leridia, it's still my favorite game and deserves a version 1.0 worthy of the name.

I'm sure you'll be delighted with this definitive version, rich in the experience I've gained over the years in creating projects.

No matter what, I constantly come back to it with my own pace.

I have no Estimated Date of Release, I underestimated the work to do as remastering things but I don't want to give up that path I've taken. I'll go to the end of it.

CONTENT FOR PATRONS

I'll review the pattern content after the set survey.

Let's be honest, sets take energy and time and these context-free images are cool but don't have as much impact as the game.

So I've decided not to produce any more sets to free up this time for project production, preferring to concentrate on creating images and animations related to Cyberslayers and the Leridia remaster.

This doesn't mean that I won't be doing any more, but I'd like to inform you that I'll be devoting the next few months to Leridia and Cyberslayers just to increase the pace.

The interesting counterpart will be the arrival of special updates such as MARAK UPDATE. There will be other "small updates" for the Patrons certainly to come.

By the way, I'm aware that rewarding Patrons who pay a large sum of money once may be unfair to those who have been paying smaller sums for months on end.

I would therefore like to inform you of two important points:

1/MARAK UPDATE will be available in February for all Slayers  ($10 tier) and in March for Ghouls  ($5 tier).

2/ The next special updates will be distributed to CORE SOULS and then EVILS MIND, including active Patrons with over $100 in loyalty (so if you're an active patron, you can request the special update at the Evil Minds release date via private message).
