PSA: Where to Find My Mod Updates

I just wanted to put this out to let everyone know that the best places to find information for my mods' current status are:

  • Here on my Patreon, especially on my master download post

  • On my Discord in the #announcements and #mod-list channels

  • On my CurseForge (patch compatibility info at top of every mod description)

  • On Luthienrising's mod status posts on the EA Forums

You will not find my mods tracked elsewhere. My best guess is that my release of a relatively large catalog in a short amount of time has triggered my being labeled as a "suspect" creator by some community list maintainers. It is disappointing, but it is what it is. My velocity is a combination of decades of professional software engineering and QA experience coupled with AuDHD and the morning-to-night marathon modding session habit I've fallen into. Nothing more mysterious than that.

My mods will remain freely available without paywalls, and I am happy to address any concerns people may have if brought to me directly. I started modding my game to fix the things I found annoying that nobody else had addressed, and I found a brand new passion. Wild horses couldn't drag me away from my keyboard now. I will continue to dive deeply into the game's mechanics to create the most elegant solutions possible for issues bothering me and other players, rather than implementing a brute force method that "kind-of-sort-of" works.

I want to shoutout my appreciation for all of my current followers on here and CurseForge for trying out my mods and supporting my modding efforts. Also, every bug report is a gift enabling me to make my mods better, so keep them coming (there's a #bug-reports channel on the Discord for that too)! Thank you all for reading and for being part of my little corner of the Sims 4 modding community! Happy Simming!
