Proactive Bulk Update: ModGuard Compatibility Fixes
So, I saw the community alert about security scanners flagging certain file-saving methods used in script mods. Out of curiosity, I threw ModGuard into my own game (my bad for not already having it installed, I KNOW) to check my catalog, and while no warning triggered for me, I realized a few of my mods use the exact pathing methods that could cause a false positive down the line.
To be completely safe, I decided to get ahead of it.
What I Did to Fix It:
I just spent the afternoon refactoring and streamlining the backend code across my entire catalog. I stripped out those generic file-saving methods and replaced them with a much cleaner, localized logic that keeps everything securely sandboxed.
I tested the new builds thoroughly in my own game. They appear quiet, clean, and compliant.
