A tremendous thanks and credit to Runey in writing characters we truly care about. What happened to Maria gutted me, and I sense it's a turning point for our MC as well.

Not much actually changed for her. If it would have been anyone else that got her then it would have been different story. Those few days must have been traumatizing though. Few pretty huge things to solve: Elves with Lin, Half-elves for Maria, and that whole Android -situation. Big things ahead.
