Jingran Repair & fresh news

I was so busy on Radiant Hsin I haven't noticed that Radiant Jingran was down for 2 days! Don't panic as I'll repair him as soon as possible. Just keep an eye on his related posts for the next days to come. (including today)

Radiant Hsin is almost finished now but the last straight line is a tough beast to tame! I'll try to finish everything before sunday because I have to visit my family that day... I'm sure having it a released tomorrow would be amazing for all of you but it would require me to work all my living hours until then and never take any break nor having any chilling minute. Still, I'll try.

If you want to understand how time-consuming and annoying crafting a high quality mod textures looks like here are 2 video links recorded yesterday. First one is a hair texture repair for a new haircut option, some parts don't connect well when you mix assets from different character and you have to fix that for a long long time (only 19 min here but it last 1h+ total). When my brush stops it's when I check the result in-game but I didn't want to display that. Second video is about increasing the quality of her liberation form clothes patterns, took me 6 hours in total this time, again you only have a little piece here.

Boring to watch isn't it? Well, imagine that's even worse when you're in the creator shoes and this kind of process is mandatory to reach the best quality or to create new exclusive assets like custom haircuts. So! About that Hsin is about to break the all-time record : I've worked an average of 6 hours per day since 12 days and at the same time I had to handle my real work for about the same duration (so working 12 hours per day). This mod should be around 72 hours of work total. Now that I know how to record videos on my software I'll show you I was never lying about my working hours and the fatigue this hobby generate as practically a second job.

Finally once again I'm worried I almost didn't earn any new asterites since Jingran because I simply didn't have any time to play the game. I couldn't do any quest, exploration or event and I hope I won't miss out too much...
