What’s your favorite video game? Is it fun or nostalgic or do you have a meaningful reason for loving it?
You talked a little about Rick and Morty in your MatPat video several years ago, but have you ever thought about making a video just on the show? There are a lot of weird and contradictory writing decisions, which I feel like is the kind of thing you like to pull apart and try to interpret seriously
was there a specific time, event or person that really made you want to start your creative writing (personal or professional)
What did you think about the backrooms movie
Howdy BJ! Are there any books you're currently reading? Are there any particular genres you tend to gravitate towards?
when it comes to visual artwork, what styles or expressed ideas do you find most appealing?
What have you read recently that you enjoyed?
What motivates you to do what you do? Do you think about it much or is BJ just flowing out you like silly goo from a Mr. Beastable squinky?
What is it about the formats you create art in that gravitate towards you for reasons we might not expect
What are your thoughts on The Odyssey and Christopher Nolan in general?
Can we get a small tour/review of the art you have in your house?
Seconded
Not sure if you saw it, but I recently I watched and really enjoyed Christopher Nolan's interview with Zhong Shu. While she's not a film critic, it really made me want to seek out more intellectually stimulating film criticism that really goes deep into the philosophy of the filmmaker. Do you have any favorite modern film critics or specific pieces of film criticism?
Maybe I'll even remember to tune in this time instead of remembering half an hour after it's over.
take all the time you need to make a good video about the Avatar Movie. As for a question I'm curious about your thoughts around the act of media piracy
Hey BJ, long time listener first time inquirer: are you an X-men guy? If so, who's your favorite x-person? If not, why do you hate and fear mutants? Warmest regards, Harv.
Did the DCOM Quints at all inspire your short story Anti-Dog? I noticed in your DCOM video that you mentioned your interest in the themes of individualization when presented with an undifferentiated set, and it struck me as very similar to the themes of Anti-Dog.
Guess I'm bringing my earbuds to work tomorrow!
