Maybe it would help to tie new potential patrons to the benefit it has on their favorite character or project. It may be that people decide to become patrons because they believe it will help the projects they are interested be completed, not necessarily because they would like for the creator to work on a new or side project like you suggest in the prompt.

Was a patreon but stopped 1. I am not at all interested in Dozer's and Spencer's route. If I could play as Dozer I'd be fine, but with how sexual his route his and how I'm also a total top, it's just too jarring. Spencer personality I don't like. 2. MC is too passive. I wish he'd be a bit like Dozer's in route's where you are the top, having Couch turn around in his new jockstrap is a good example. It sucks that he love interests always have to initiate things. To be fair this is something that happens in a lot of VNs, but I'm kinda over it since I'm not at a passive person IRL. I like the MC in the Darius route and find his days to be great, but 3. Darius camping trip was added too soon, having to wait so long for it lowers my desire to play his route until that weekend happens. 4. There's other artists/author I support and budget only allows for so many sponsorships.

I was wondering about the guardians of par'vala game. Is that gonna make a return anytime in the future bc that game was AMAZING story going for it for how short it is.

I am a patron already but the only issue I have is the slower release of content. I was a patron back when you were doing 2 days per update and without the housecleaning. I totally understand the housecleaning and having a regular update dedicated to it is pretty much the best you can do honestly. On the other hand, getting used to the faster pacing of updates then having it cut in half has been hurting. Thinking about it and realizing that the ending to Coach's route could be over a year away is disheartening but I also don't want you to compromise your quality to do it faster. I am not sure what the best path is but I am sure you will figure it out!

Honestly I’ve loved being a Patreon for at least a year at this point. The only thing I miss is old spencer’s Sprite. I love all the other updated ones, but for me I just can’t look past old spence’s Sprite. He will always be my favorite husky wolf

I'm a patron, but what about random "poster" images of the characters relating to their story? Like a picture of Darius floating naked in his favorite lake or Spencer dancing. Something to keep this patron alive between updates. For now, it's pretty much just a wait game for patches but would love to see more art in between!

Was a Patreon for quite some time, two main things caused the drift (ignoring the constant concern over my limited funds which I tried to shift around several artists I enjoyed): 1. The story sort of stagnated in some ways while also making odd changes. It sort of felt like this was a "write it as it goes" style of story rather than an already made story that just got details filled in (which can work but risk falling on trops, cliches, etc to sustain in). The murderous homophobic Coach wife is the pinnacle example of this, felt like sudden, cheesy and quick drama similar to a sitcom/ soap opera story. Meanwhile the stories all sort of mull along, many days felt more and more padded. I suppose when the project was early on it felt to me (admittedly without justification) that each character could have wild arcs based on choices, with each character having a key trait. For example Spencer trait focuses on obsession and jealousy, so I though if you chose well you get loyal scenes of love, if you choose badly you wind up in more sex for pleasure, maybe bad enough choices had you cheating on him in the club with someone else. Now it feels most choices are "Fallout 4" choices, you get a happy yes, a sassy yes or a grumpy yes that just give different bouts of dialogue and maybe a missed image. 2. The art (which I know some people have been less diplomatic about bringing up but please dont yell). I spent a year trying to like CGB's art but always find myself remaining unhappy with it & comparing it unfavourably to CM. I am well aware this issue isn't addressable, but I feel a lot of people want to say "the art" but are scared to. I also appreciate the change wasn't in your control and wasn't done to spite anyone, but as the V in an VN it was a problem that stays around and constantly made it hard for me to stay.

I saw someone named "Midna" in my e-mail replying to my comment that they do not care for the new artist. Also a thing I avoid mentioning because of the way that topic tends to explode when we the patrons try to discuss it with you. I also noticed many more wrote and then deleted the same thing Midna wrote :/ Maybe you should have made a pole with more than 1 artist for people to see their work and vote on who should have replaced Cursedmarked? (Maybe you can make a public pole and old patrons who stopped supporting you could express their opinion without any harsh reactions from you? That way people would not walk on eggshells in these comments and just speak their mind) Bare in mind many people do not have a strong grasp of the English language and can sound harsh and negative even if they really do not want to attack or insult anyone. I feel like that was the main reason some of us dropped from higher dollar support to minimum support or no support at all.

I have been a patron of you since about November of 2017 so I really enjoy your game. So I'll tell you the main problem with your game and why despite this I still remain a patron. The MC is just too unrelatable and doesn't have enough options to make him relatable, It isn't a huge deal for 3rd person readers but I play MC as a 1st person reader meaning I read MC as a self insert with my name. Many of what MC does or says in the dialog choices are just not something I would do or say sometimes if the choices are to flesh out MC to be more like how I want him, a good half the time I just feel like the Novel fails at this aspect. Some uncanny examples being the Darius route where truthfully I am more than surprised doesn't contain more sexual interactivity that is mutual rather than one-sided. I don't even get the choice to reciprocate the advances once in a while, some of the past few days with Darius have been wild cause there have been some dialog choices to reciprocate the advances. I have been loving it. And while I understand the end goal is to have a true love romance, I truthfully don't totally want this with Darius and wish that through the entire route I could have gotten to his heart through his dick instead. Hell, the Dozer route is getting way more horny than the Darius route and I feel like that is saying something about quiet guys lol. Dozer's route is literally tearing me away from the Darius route because MC is just much more relatable to read without the need of side or alternate routes. But with Darius, I feel like he needs an entirely different route, one where we have been fucking around almost the entire month and he ended up falling in love with me that way instead of me falling for him first. But I eagerly still play the game even if my Darius route is the only one I have to name Eric and read in 3rd person to maintain interest. This is really more of a personal gripe because you as a writer should know people who go into Darius's route are thirsty people and god is his route literally the Dry Dry Desert from Paper Mario in terms of quenching that thirst. But your writing of the characters is still very well done and is why I stay. (Especially the Chester route which is damn near flawless for my 1st person plays) Also, I stay for the hopefully coming Richard route. But I truly expect MC to not be thirsty in that one either so I'll get a whole lot of Richard in briefs egging me on for the fooling around I can't choose to engage in like every route already does with him and I cry. #FreeTheRhinoDickGodDamnIt #PolyamorousOptionForRichard

While Extracurricular Activities has good content on the erotic side of things, personally I've just haven't found really any of the characters or their stories particularly interesting.

I wanna be a patron for sure because I really love your work and OMG all of them kept me waiting for more and I can't wait to the Richard route! He has been one of my fav since I started playing (Also Harold and Chester stole my heart). By the way, I can't be a patron right now because I don't earn enough money to pay bills and patreon payments but for sure when I get enough to pay all of that, I'll be a patron!! Because your work deserve it.

To be perfectly honest, before i became a patreon the only thing that kept me from it was an awfull lot of inconveniences (oh? what? paypal doesnt accept your card, and all you can do is order a visa and wait for 4 months? sucks to live in your country pal!) to go through to, as i put it myself, "get the content im paying for only twice a month". As i grew interest in EA, that became less of a point, and i just decided to do it. Money well spent.

Ello there patreon follower here! As I've read in the other comments I would suggestion maybe doing a few polls here and there offering people what else they might like to see. I for one dont want you rushing the storyline of our beloved characters (Richard is the best because rhinos) but maybe offer mini games or projects like the L&L, or maybe the backstory of Spencer? Its asking for a lot I know (since you have to find an artist to do this) but I think putting up more polls and letting patreons vote on new projects and non patreons on what they would like to see in those side projects. People do have to remember it's one man doing it all but honestly out of most VN this one is the one that makes me feel invested. Twist and turns but I can relate to the people on the wait times... still ! I say backstories and L&L during wait periods !

I was curious, was that Coach Massi intended to be a route if at all? or was he just like a passing cameo? Can't find a suggestion or criticism. well maybe spelling here and there. Patreon here, and as other member said, sometimes the updates are very slow and tedious. I know making a game its hard but twice a month for only a day per character is getting pretty tiring since most of the time you are not getting a huge day or something like that. I love Darius, and im waiting like crazy for the camping weekend with him, the sad thing about that is Darius says that to you on a Tuesday (in game day) and says lets wait for the weekend, which means i have to wait 6 months in real life for a damn camping weekend action, its a lot of time for something that seem exciting, so while waiting for it im like "ok, another Darius update, what is going to happen to keep me entertained enough for the camping weekend?.... Nothing at all" My suggestion, if you are planning something big to happen bewteen the MC and another character and its so far away from happening make at least 2 days per update so it goes on faster. I know building expectations is part of it, but waiting half a year for something like that is just a no for me. Another VN I follow is Tennis Ace and its a really good one that updates once a month but gives you 3-4 days to play and interact with your furry crushes. Your work is amazing just the waiting times are a bit off

I can't afford it all the time since I'm between jobs, however I will pay for a month here and there when I can. EA is my favorite game available right now. Believe me, if I could be a patron for $100+ I would.

I'm no longer a patron only because I can't keep up in playing VNs and adjusting myself to changes in a bi-monthly state. I still appreciate your work, of course. Other than that, I'm interested in other projects to support, but with budget issues I gotta make sure I keep myself afloat. I normally rotate on my patreons as there are a lot of amazing projects, and sometimes there are some that catch my interest periodically, to be fair I feel that sometimes the characters feels somewhat predictable and I don't feel as excited to know what's happening next as before, that's why I want to let some updates to pile up before being a Patreon again

What do you mean by you do everything by your self? Programming and story line?

Well, when we talk about that topic with our friends, looks like there are three main causes: 1.- Plain lack of money. We know of people in their twenties that don't even have a bank account, not to mention a PayPal one. 2.- A perception that the game updates too slowly. Adding a character's day per update seems slow, as their eventual conclusion seems more than a year away. People are usually not unreasonable about that, since pretty much everyone knows how hard it is to make a game, but still the feeling remains. 3.- People preferring to "wait it out" and keep playing the free version whenever it gets updated. That could get construed as a lack of bonus for patrons, or, at the very least, as wanting some "more", nonspecific feature as ROI. My BF says he can help you with that.
