Emergency Delay - Update
Hey, folks!
UPDATE 2: Ger had something unforeseen come up too, so I had to push things back just one more day. Sorry, folks!
UPDATE: Husband was released back into the wild today, and I've captured him and returned him home. They seem to think he had a particularly nasty vasculitis flare-up, so after a bunch of steroids and some monitoring, they deemed he was fine to come home. He'll have some follow-up appointments next week to make sure things are back to normal, but he's definitely looking, sounding and feeling better than he did.
Thank you to you all for the kind words and well wishes! We both really appreciate it.
That said, I think I'll take another week or so to handle the update, so expect it on the 23rd, then I'll make another on the first (as just a housekeeping update). After that, I'll be starting Dwayne's final day!

After spending several days trying to convince him to go, the husband finally caved to go to the ER tonight. I'm in the waiting room with him right now as I type this.
He's been suffering from fatigue and no appetite, which is similar to when he had DKA last year (his blood sugar is okay though, so I dont think it's that). It hasn't gotten worse the last few days, but it hasn't gotten better either, so it was time to go.
I don't know what they'll do just yet, but Ill update this post with more information when I have it!
This unfortunately means Ill have to delay the update a little, but hopefully not too long! I'll let you guys know more when I can.
(On the plus side, his eye check was today too, and his eyes are in excellent shape after the cataract surgeries!)

It's Dwayne's Day 34 on the 23rd! I'm doing a little housekeeping for the 1st.

Good to know his eyes are doing well, but I wish he didn't have to keep going to the hospital. I hope he get's better.

As said before, so shall again. Health will always come first. Please make sure both of you are well and will be looking for the update a little later once you guys are both doing well. Until then, wish you both get home soon, and wish the big guy a full recovery soon as well. 🫂

You should know by now what our respond be, take care of you and your family first. Worry about the updates as you have proven reliable for doing updates in good time when you can.
We wish him a quick recovery. Don't worry about the update; we would rather wait than have you shift your attention between your husband and the novel. Please keep us updated on his condition.
