More updates and such!
Again, another amazing image by Mark Thorne. For some reason, everyone needed a dress >.>
So, for the real information!
It pains me to say this, but our project isn't going to be finished by the end of the month like we wanted. What we are going to do is launch a demo for it, so everyone can see what it is we've been working on (and why it's taking some extra time), and we hope to have the full thing released in the next couple of weeks. All of you guys that are processed for October will get the project, no matter what though!
Some of you might wonder though, what about EA? Well, I'll be moving forward with my plans, regardless. I'll be getting back on track with my EA updates while continuing my work on the October project as well. The coding/writing aspects are pretty close to being done (I've been doing 10+ hours a day lately, as the sole coder/writer), so I won't have to worry as much about that! I'll go ahead and say now, I've been working with GameMaker for this whole project, and it's been a trial, for sure, learning how to do some of these things in such a short amount of time. I still lack a lot of knowledge about it, but I'm really happy with the progress of things and how it's all coming together!
(This is why I'm not allowed to do the art)
(More filler art I use for testing! x3)
(This is how my screens can look at any given time!)
I'm really sorry about the delay for that, guys, but I've been working pretty much constantly this month to get stuff done. There's only so much I can do on my own! Anyway, look forward to the demo here in the next few days, and then look forward to the EA updates being back on track! Coach Grifter is definitely on the line for an update (but I haven't decided who else yet!).
Oh yeah, and the Coach Grifter Plush campaign is still chugging along! Not much time left in it, and he's struggling, it looks like. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1408695365/coach-grifter-plush
50% of the way to the goal and only 11 days remain! IF you want a bear, please be sure to support him! He won't get produced at all if I don't hit my goal, unfortunately. The pledgers for the $30 and above do get a bear, so please, check it out and spread the work!

How about for the other scene we do Dozer, it's been quite some time and I think we're getting to that time as well?
im hoping for a spencer update myself! just dont burn yourself out no matter what it will all be great
A Spencer update would be fantastic. He is easily my favorite, but Harold is definitely a close second. I just love that husky so much. But you are right, it would be best if Dyne here didn't burn out. He is too precious to lose. :)
I absolutely love the little comment on spencer x3
Sounds like you've had your hands full! Personally, I don't mind if EA gets delayed further for IDEKA as long as you're happy with the work you guys do and take care of yourselves. I(we)'ll wait patiently for when you guys are ready.
need me some spenker next update yo. All the best for IDEKA development!!
It's about time for more of the favorite tennis dog, huh? I'll have to read some of their routes again to see what I have going on!
Maybe getting another person to help do the coding would be a good idea.
Ahaha, while that's a good reason, it's not 100% correct. If I bring someone in to help, I need to know them, first of all. For the most part, a lot of the coding is pretty simple stuff (it's just time consuming), and cooperating with someone else to get it done can be really inefficient if you aren't on the same page. I just find it a lot harder when working with someone else in these aspects x3
I look forward to everything!!!!!
THank you! :D
Take your time and make it great Dyne; we'll be waiting, no worries! ;-). I'm keeping an eye on bear progress will pledge wed as promised! I really want that coach plush to go next to my Tibbers. And no Tibbers has not made my house explode yet lol.
Thanks so much! I'll do my best :)
those dresses, seriously i would love to see chester in that dress, he looks the best of the bunch <3 a demo well that's cool too, also why not have a double update of harold instead since you can't decide who next to update and i highly doubt the the fanbase would object to such a thing since harold is thee best loved character of all the routes entirely
I would be willing to second the decision to do a double.
Mark's pic is just gorgeous
It is! I just love it x3
I believe it is WAY better to delay something then release it prematurely only to realize the mistakes and regrets *looks at Sonic '06*. From what I've seen your guys' fanbase is very patient due to the fact you guys really do deliver when it comes to projects!! Keep up the good work!! We can suck it up for a couple weeks :D
Everyone is super patient, and I love that. I don't typically worry if I have to delay it, cause everyone is always so supportive. (I just feel a bit guilty about it!). I'll do my best for everyone~
Yeah I've been looking at the kickstarter page and how slow it's been but still have hope will make it in time
The best things in life are worth waiting for. And judging by the sneak peeks that you and CM have posted over the course of the last month or so, I'm sure this will definitely be worth the wait. Also just looking at those screens gives me a headache, I have nothing but respect for anyone who can make sense of that gibberish. Obviously coding is not something I will be pursuing as either a pastime or possible career choice. Seeing more updates for EA will be great. If you are unsure who to update alongside of coach, I'd say either Dozer or Spencer would be a solid choice, as Darius and Chester were in the previous update, though any character would be fine really, (I'd vote for Darius personally, but the others deserve an update just as much). So whatever you decide is fine. Overall I wish you luck in this endeavor, and I am looking forward to seeing how this project turns out and whatever the future holds for EA and other projects you choose to work on.
I hope so! It's been a crazy ride trying to get this stuff pulled together. There have been pleeeenty of hiccups (some of which we are still working through), but it's been fun learning a new program. It certainly opens the doors for other projects in the future. I'll be reading over those guys to see who I update next. To be honest, I'll end up going with ehover I think will be easier to handle at the time x3
