CUAShadowFixer
Hey everyone, I've been working on a plugin that aims to do what the original UnityAssetVamifier plugin did, but also correctly keep all material properties and baked lighting!
CUAShadowFixer makes any CustomUnityAsset work properly with VaM's lights and shadows. It started as a quick "fix the shadows" script, but it turned into a much deeper rabbit hole than I planned. Baked lighting, reflections, Bakery scenes, VR, and things I needed to consider. But I'm genuinely happy with where it ended up :)
I also included the feature Face-Hide that allows you to hide faces of the mesh, mainly so you can hide the outer walls of a room to still be able to see inside of it.
It's free on the Hub (link below). I feel that everyone should be able to make their scenes using proper looking CUAs, so I hope you all find it just as useful as I do! ❤️

You... did.... not just.... create the single sole plugin, that every single fucking environment creator artist was waiting for..... I swear to god, i've said it before but you might be one of the most promising plugin creators VaM has ever seen besides the likes of everlaster
This plugin wouldn't even need to exist if environment creators just used the proper UnityShadowLibrary file when making their assetbundle 😅. I'm mostly interested in making scenes, but I keep running into annoying problems that have no proper solution, so I end up making a plugin to fix it lol. Some environments are nice, but no proper shadows just isn't up to my standards in terms of quality, so I would just end up not using that environment. With this plugin a lot of CUAs can look much better.
