New Face Types and Head Variants!
Hey everyone, Dogson and Blacky here!
We have a bunch of new head and face type variants coming up, so definitely check out the screenshots!
On the left, you’ll see the female variant, and on the right, the male version.
The Scalie1 head will now support sharks, cartoony crocs, and dragons (as before, we have a few fixes for those though).
The Scalie2 head will feature a dragon variant based on Xandra, and the Scalie Long Neck head will include a second snake variant as well as an entirely new dragon variant.
With these updates, support for the old Dragon, Snake, and Shark heads will officially end.
Now, this might raise a few questions, so here’s a quick explanation:
All old characters using those heads will of course still work, and you’ll still be able to use those heads on your characters in the future.
The only change is that the deprecated heads will no longer receive updates.
This means, that future body types won’t be compatible with them.
This shift saves us a lot of time, allowing us to focus on delivering more new content rather than spending countless hours creating custom shapes for each body and head combination.
Our current plan in the mesh department is to gradually phase out older heads by either replacing them entirely with new ones or adding fresh face type options to our modern heads, giving you improved alternatives to the aging content.
And as a little teaser:
We’re already working on a brand-new rabbit head 😉
With that said, we hope you enjoy the new direction we’re taking. Ideally, this will let us give you more options and variety with just a single head!
Have a nice week and till soon!

when do you think vr will be implemented
VR will be implemented as soon as the project has been migrated to a different Unity render pipeline. We will share a roadmap here on patreon most likely this weekend.
I have a question about blowjob feature, its gonna be implemente in the future? Also while a character is penetrating another one, do you devs plan to add the Bulge effect on the stomach too? (would be nice touch)
Hi there Tarles_X, Blowjobs are planned but has no milestone yet. As for bulge, you can achieve that using custom offsets.
Do me a favour and leave space for an ‘upper eyelid crease’ on the new heads, so that we have more room to create a wide variety of more realistic eye shapes.
I'll forward the feedback to dogson. - odes
Hi, these new heads look great. I will be using them for future projects once we get them. A couple of questions, however. 1) Will they have a wider range of custom sliders to help get more distinct looks for characters? 2) Will there be just "basic" versions of heads in the future, ones without pre-made noses and lip clefts (for example, I wanted to use the deer head for a character that has an asian dragon-like head, but I had to abandon that idea as removing the nostrils on the standard deer head in Blender was far beyond my skills). I am also sure that those who have the blender skills would like them as a starting point for more elaborate custom characters. 3. Not head-related, but are there going to be updates to the manual on how to add in custom texturemaps made in Blender? I can't seem to find any info anywhere, and when I've tried to import a texturemap, it's gone all wierd.
About 1) Yes, you can fully customise things like beak, muzzle length, mouthspikes, nosebridge and more. 2) most likely the future heads will recieve fully integrated noses simply because added noses (as parts) don't move along emotes. We are adding sliders for lip clefts so chances are you can disable those on future heads (or add them in, depending on the base shape we go for). 3) we will add more information regarding texture customisation and "how to blender" on the advanced tutorial series which is currently in production. It's highly unlikely that the manual will feature such information since we don't want third party software to be mentioned there.
When VR arrives to this it will be the greatest experience ever
I do hope that we get various movement options in vr, though. That camera movement in Yiffalicious was devastating for me 😵💫
I know we can extract the textures ourselves from the furryVNE characters, but it would be nice to one day have it to wear the clothes are already in the character build at least base models
If I get it right, let me fill you in on a few things: Since garments always need to be specifically tailored for a character it's simply not possible to make modular garments for all "models" such as templates. However, if you want to extract and alter already existing characters garments you can do that by exporting the entire mesh of a character to a third party software such as blender and adjust it there for your character.
