This page will be dedicated to posting any troubleshooting tips and step-by-step guides to people having problems while trying to play "Bunny Hero Works Part-Time", so I can easily link them this post.

MAC VERSION TROUBLESHOOTING

If you're having issues trying to play this game using Mac, please try the following steps:

1. On the terminal and write: chmod +x 

2. Then drag the BunnyHero.app into Terminal, and type: /Contents/MacOS/BunnyHero.
   
   So the final command should look something like:
   chmod +x /Users/<your username>/Desktop/BunnyHero-<your version>-mac.app/Contents/MacOS/BunnyHero 

3. Then press Enter and try right-click → Open on BunnyHero.app. 

Some Mac users reported success with this step-by-step. Let me know if that works for you.

MAC VERSION GATEKEEPER ISSUE

Because the app is built on Windows, it lacks Apple Code Signing and Notarization. When downloaded over the internet, macOS can flag it as "damaged" or unsafe via extended attributes (com.apple.quarantine).

I advise Mac users to download and play through the itch.io desktop app rather than downloading raw .zip files from a web browser. The itch app sandbox automatically handles permission flags and bypasses Gatekeeper quarantine flags safely.

UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD

If you live in Vietnam (or any other country that might ban the download of corn games on itch), please try using a VPN to see if that works for you.
