Patreon news
Hi all! Due to events patreon froze the ability to withdraw funds for Russian creators, now funds are frozen in the account. At the same time withdrawal of funds from the supporters is going on as usual. I do not intend to leave Patreon as this is my only job, but I will now work more slowly as I will not be able to get paid and therefore my livelihood. I will keep you informed as much as possible and hope that Patreon will soon unfreeze our funds and allow us to work as usual.
Otherwise, freelancers are screwed :")

Sad to hear, but since russia get more and more excluded from swift, this was to be expected and the bad news are, so long putin don't move his ass out of ukraine, the sanctions won't be lifted
Huh. I had no idea Hioshiru was from Russia. Now I understand all the Patreon fears. I was thinking word leaked Patreon was banning adult artists or something like that. Yeah that is a bit harder of a problem to deal with as there are alternatives to Patreon, but any legitimate one will be enacting similar Russia assets freezes. Unfortunately unless Putin gets disposed of, these sanctions will remain in place for years. Best of luck Hioshiru 馃挋
I wish this didn鈥檛 have to affect you. It鈥檚 heartbreaking. :( Like others are saying, let us know about alternatives or ways we may be able to help. I hope you鈥檙e able to figure out something in the meantime. Keep us updated on how you鈥檙e doing as things change, because even if you鈥檙e unable to put much time into art, it鈥檇 be comforting to know you鈥檙e able to take care of yourself still and doing alright. I'm really sorry to read that.. russian population are innocent for this situation and still have to pay for it. But at least I think to block only the withadrawl is still better than a complete block. Stay safe.. let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.

any non patreon alternatives that you know of? I know that paysafe was working for some people over there, but unfortunately you can't use it through patreon
