Starting to realize that if we had dog day investigate that smell again he probably would’ve found the real baba chop sooner and not get cut(also how’s the QuickTime event supposed to work in this context?)
Nope. He'd get cut cause he'd walk further into the house. Turning around or Saying 'I'll leave' would have Dogday stay by the door, allowing enough time to react before getting cut. Remember when I said, pay attention to the details? Well, the smell Dogday picked up was blood and black licorice. This takes place one day after fake depressed, which ends in Dogday getting cut open. Anise smells like black licorice. Had Dogday assumed that his blood from the previous day and Baba's normal Anise smell was what he was smelling, he'd not had a reason to stay. That's why those two choices would prevent him from getting cut.
