Update.
Happy New Year once again. This is Brian Bradley. As we begin 2025, I would like to first thank all of you Patrons for hanging with Kingdom Comics for as long as you have. Whether that's been a few months, or several years, your faithfulness to this little publishing company/ministry has been an encouragement to us all. And it is my hope and prayer that many have enjoyed and have been Blessed by the materials we've published over the years.
I would also like to give an update with were we are in terms of publishing, and invite you to hang with us, as we now have to make a few tweaks. Back in Sept 2024, I made the announcement that after the publication of "Z-end" we would wrap up publishing. It was an expected end, and we wanted to go out with a bang! As the months have passed, and as we continued to received support and encouragement, I sought the Lord and inquired if there was a way that we could continue on, with a few changes. For weeks, I thought and prayed about this.
We will still be sending all of our Patrons copies of the 148 page graphic novel, "Z-end". As I said before, the size of that book will more than make up for the past few months of not publishing anything, as that graphic novel will be the equivalent of about 6 comic books.
And then starting in Feb, we will resume publishing. With a few changes. We will now only publish one comic book a month. It will be "Kingdom Comics Presents". Each issue will now include 2-3 stories, but will include the titles we were publishing before. So, the issues will have (as an example), 8 pages of Quiver, 8 pages of Sir Caliburn, and 8 pages of Bridge. Next issue, 8 pages the Anointed 7, 8 pages Prodigal, 8 pages We Are Rephaim. Every issue will look like that, etc. You'll get all multiple titles in one 24 page book.
With the change will also come an inevitable price increase. We will now go up to $10 a month for a subscription price. This will help us cover the rising costs of printing and mailing. Those of you who are at the $10 tier will now receive only 1 comic book a month, while those at the $5 tier will now be charged $10 a month. This is if you so choose, You can always cancel out, and I would understand that. I hope you won't.
These changes will help insure that we will be able to produce high quality comic books on a monthly basis, and get them into your hands without any delays. In time, hopefully we can go back up to 2 a month. For now, this is where we are. I believe this can work.
Thanks to you all. Here's to a very successful 2025!
