Does anyone know what song that was at the very end of the podcast? I couldn't find it by looking up the lyrics
How in the world does this woman write for THE AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE
Hey warnerd, Don't know if you are aware of this, but one of the reasons operations Entebe was such a success, and actually less of a shoestring of an operation than thought of. is that the company that build the entire airport, was an Israeli company (Solel Boneh) and naturally had full blueprints of everything on demand: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solel_Boneh
Yep, great show. That Greider book you were mentioning Mark is called "Secrets of the Temple". That book made me the armchair economist I am today. Check out Michael Hudson's "Killing the Host" for a similarly eye-opening look at the political economy today. I remember "Fuck Iran" scratched in to many a Space Invaders or Asteroids console in the back of every Iranian-owned liquer store in the early Eighties in suburban San Diego County. It was a close second to "Stop Disco" on all the stop signs. BTW, watch the new "We are Twisted Fuckin Sister" documentary to see how they made hay off the "disco sucks" thing for months without realizing what they were tapping into. It'd be hilarious if it weren't so depressing. Also goes to show it ain't just our elites that massively misjudge the temperament of the crowd as they're firing them up.
Hi Mark / John - Yes, the audio quality was very good. GREAT show!
Yeah I was still able to listen to last one but only direct link to MP3
