A little Patreon tip so you don’t overpay 💜
Heey 😸 Since so many new members have joined lately, I wanted to share a little tip that some of you might not know.
If you subscribe through the Patreon app on iPhone, the price can be around 40% higher because of Apple’s App Store fees.
If you’re on iPhone, you can simply open Patreon in Safari/your browser instead and you should see the normal lower price.
Alsooo, if you already know you’re planning to stick around with me 😼, there’s a yearly option with 20% off. You can find it through your browser (or Android).
Just wanted to make sure you’re not spending more than you need to 🫶🏻
And now I’m curious 👀 Where do you usually use Patreon?

Android app and Windows browser, you?
Android/pc
Android Samsung.
I just checked the sanctuary tier price and it's the same price on both on iOS and on the browser (€10/month or $12.5/month). For some reason it's cheaper to pay using euros than US dollars due to the exchange rate. Also when you tap "join" in the Patreon iOS app, it automatically redirects you to your browser to complete the subscription. So I don't think you can subscribe directly through the app store anymore. Edit: Patreon says there is a 2.5% processing fee on member payments made in a currency different from your payout currency. Is your native currency euros? If yes, then that explains why paying directly using US dollars is more expensive. https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039539851-Setting-my-creator-currency-FAQ
