Let's Watch S1E1 of Schitt's Creek Together | "Our Cup Runneth Over"

Thankful you are reacting to this show! I have been meaning to rewatch the series since Catherine’s passing and this gives me the perfect “comunal” way to partake.

I knnew watching along with you would be great. The writing is superb and on this rewatch I am finding new things. Warmest regards

Very happy to revisit one of my all time favorites. If you enjoyed this first episode, just wait. There’s a reason this little Canadian show became a phenomenon.

Fantastic show! You'll see it gets better and better as the seasons go on and all the characters develop further. Brilliant cast, brilliant characters.

The jokes are so quick and dry they are easy to miss. For example, the mayor’s name is Roland. He’s a member of the Schitt family. He’s Roland Schitt (say it aloud).

So happy you are reacting to this show! Loved your reaction.

This show is an absolute gem! Truly beautiful, and a perfect Canadian show. Canada knows how to do TV!

I'll start watching when a certain character joins the show in Season 3 or 4. Don't remember which one that person debuts in.

Twyla is the real life sister of the son and real life daughter of the Dad

I've been meaning to re-watch Schitt's Creek for a while, so this seems like a good time to actually do it :). Fun fact: the receptionist girl (Stevie) is also going to be in season 2 of Heated Rivalry :). She's good friends with Jacob Tierney and was even thanked in the final credits of season 1 :).

Emily Hampshire, who plays Stevie, is also going to be on Heated Rivalry next season. She and Jacob Tierney are besties IRL.
