SimSweep 2.11.0 is live
So 2.11.0 just dropped and the main thing you'll notice is everything feels smoother. I rebuilt all the animations in the app. Page transitions, cards loading in, popups, menus, all of it moves properly now instead of the choppy stuff it was doing before. It's one of those changes where you might not consciously notice it but the app just feels better to use.
There's a star rating system now too. It'll pop up in the top left corner after you've opened the app a few times. Not aggressive about it, rate it once and it goes away forever, dismiss it and it waits another 15 opens before asking again. These will be super helpful for the website I'm building out here in a couple days, so if you've got 2 seconds I'd appreciate it so much.
Performance fixes. I know some of you were having issues so I went in on this. Scanning now runs at a lower priority on your system so you can actually play Sims 4 while it's working without your PC struggling. The scan doesn't hog your hard drive anymore, it takes small pauses between reads so other apps can breathe. Results from broken CC checks get remembered now so if you scan again and nothing changed it doesn't redo all that work. The app also stops re-scanning your entire game folder every time you open it since that only changes when EA drops a patch. Second scan should feel noticeably faster across the board.
Save Health is here. This is a brand new section in SimSweep that lets you actually see what's going on inside your save files. There's a "Check for Corruption" button that scans the structure of your save file and tells you if anything looks wrong. Gives you a risk level from Clean to Critical and if it's bad enough there's a backup button right in the results.
Batch analysis lets you hit "Analyze All" and check every save at once with a progress bar. Sortable results with health scores, file sizes, sim counts, warnings.
The app actually knows your Sims now. Your save list shows household names instead of "Slot_00000009." Households are grouped and sortable and names like "Spencer-Kim-Lewis" show up correctly.
It catches bloat now too. Leftover data from deleted Sims clogging up your relationships, Sims hoarding too much in their inventories, too many Sims in your world, save files getting dangerously large. If your save is getting sick it tells you why.
Auto-backups for Decrypt members. One option watches your saves folder and backs up when something changes, the other detects when Sims 4 launches and backs up once per session. You can set it on a schedule too. You get a notification when they fire so you always know.
Save comparison lets you pick two saves and see what's different between them. Growth history tracks your save over time so you can see if things are getting better or worse. Both Decrypt features.
More features to come with the Save Health feature as I continue learning what more I can do. So stay tuned for more updates.
Tiers got renamed. If you were on the free tier that's now called Public. If you were on Operative that's now Decrypt. Same price, same access, nothing changes for you. Just new names that fit better with where SYVR is heading.
Still noticing people on older versions of the app. If you see this icon on your screen, click it. That's the update.
I'm going to spend this weekend going through every single theme and fixing them individually. A lot of them bug me with readability issues and just janky stuff in general, so I figure you're having the same experience. I will also begin looking into the CC Reverse Image feature since that was the second most voted feature from the poll. Still haven't decided how exactly it’s going to work/fit inside of SimSweep but I'll let you know where I end up at.
Discord server is coming soon! I am no longer in charge of making the discord server because of how bad and wrong I was 🤣 so shoutout to Ellie for fixing all my mistakes and setting it up properly 🤍
Overall it was a pretty productive day. Oh, also shoutout to whoever tried hacking my email accounts today <3 you reminded me I was overdue on updating my passwords so thanks for that I guess lol

Hey I really appreciate the effort. It already helped me alot. However the 50/50 thing is not working for me. Everytime I try this (have a problem connected to LOT 51 and CAS) even when I say to NOT include script files I start gettting errors with bad scripts and can't load into the game. So my guess is, it still disables scripts?
Let me do some testing, maybe something got changed on accident. I'll let you know when it's fixed
Do you have a ETA on Linux compatibility?
Linux has been a bigger hurdle than I originally expected it to be (thought it was going to be easy like Mac). I can’t give an exact eta but it is definitely coming. I’m basically having to rebuild it from the ground up completely if that helps explain it better
Hi and thank you for making this I am excited to use SimSweep!! Buuut I am having an issue. My CC was scanned and now that it has finished scanning, the results come up then the screen goes black. If I close and reopen, it is up for a maybe a sec and then goes black again. What should I do?
Can you share if you’re on windows or Mac? This will help me figure out why it may be doing that for you
Thank you for making it compatible for Mac-users as well! ❤️ it is so sad that Mac-users misses out on so many good programs because the creators doesn’t make it compatible or neglects updating it alongside its Windows counterpart.
It does suck to see a cool looking tool and it’s only available for windows :( I am curious to know how well SimSweep is doing on Mac? I don’t have access to a Mac full time so I don’t get to test it as often as I would like
