Weekly Report 221 - No More Money
Hi guys,
First of all I want to apologize for the late weekly report, but I just wrapped up an all nighter. I spent most of the weekend working day and night, but looking now at the progress I barely made some progress. Unfortunately one of my artists stopped answering earlier in August and I kept hoping he would answer and send me his work, but that didn't happened, so I had to recalculate the progress which pushed me back quite a a lot in the progress bar and I'm doing the renders myself now.
Unfortunately I will not be able to release the game in 5 days. There is just simply too much work left to be done. I'm not blaming anyone but me for bad management, so please don't hold a grudge against anyone. Even if he would have sent me the work he was supposed to do, I would still not be able to release the game in 5 days. There are just too many animations I haven't done yet and some took me 18 hours to make.
That being said, I'm going to bed now since it's already 7AM and in a few hours I will start again hoping that I will not delay this update too much more.

Seems like we always need to let you know to take time, so listen to us... and take time - for us, for life, for friends, for family and most importantly..for you. As you see from other comments, we're ok to wait, so you need to be ok with that too ;)

Take your time, Rome wasn't built in a day. Release a game you're happy and content with, all of us are here to support you not criticize you on not releasing on time
Hey, do not stress. I thought your goal was too ambitious. This is art creation not a production line. Do not overwork yourself and cause your health to suffer. Take a step back experience life, smell the roses, listen to the birds sing. You and your art will be the better for it. The update will come when it is ready and I am happy to wait.

No worries here. Take your time with it. Set release dates are the worst anyway. They're not good for AVN devs; all they do is make y'all stressed out due to time constraints. I prefer the simple: keep us updated on the game's progression and release it when it's ready. Have a great sleep and GL with the game 😁.
Take care of yourself. I am certain the update will be good no matter when it will be released, regardless. Keep up the amazing work that you do!
