No More Homework: What Class Will the Teacher Teach?
Hi everyone,
I need your input on one final decision before I can start planning the next game!
Thanks to the previous polls, we’ve decided that the next game will be No More Homework, featuring a teacher in his late 20s as the main character. However, I still need to decide what subject he teaches.
I have two scenarios in mind, both of which I love equally and think offer exciting possibilities. In either case, the game will focus on an extracurricular activity that he undertakes with a group of his brightest students. Here are the options:
1. Computer Science
In addition to his regular duties like teaching, grading papers, tutoring struggling students, and occasionally "forgiving" certain students for missed homework, the teacher will collaborate with a select group of students to create a hyper-realistic video game.
The plot of the video game being created will depend on the your choices as they guide the main character's interactions with his students. These choices will shape not only the game’s story but also the relationships he builds with his students—leading either toward corrupting their innocence or fostering deep, romantic connections.
2. Art Class
As the art department at this college is small, our teacher’s class will cover a wide range of creative disciplines: painting, photography, sculpture, screenwriting, digital art, and film/video production.
The extracurricular activity will center on making a successful movie, but the movie’s plot will be decided by the player’s choices. These decisions will influence not only the type of story being filmed but also the dynamics between the teacher and his students—leading either to moments of corruption or the blossoming of genuine affection and love.
3. Other
If neither of these ideas resonates with you, feel free to suggest an alternative! I’ll try to come up with another concept if enough of you prefer a different direction.
A Few Notes:
Regardless of which scenario wins, the game will feature a diverse cast of students. If you choose computer science, you won’t just see stereotypical "nerdy" characters; and if you choose art class, it won’t be filled solely with "hipster artist" types. I want to include as many different character archetypes as possible to keep things interesting.
The final decision will be made based on multiple factors, including your current tier, how long you’ve been supporting the project, and other contributions you've made. I’ll be considering all of this when choosing the winning scenario to ensure that everyone’s input is valued!
Bests,
Jason

From the majority of comments it would seem that Art & movie is the most justified route. Nothing to stop the Art teacher having minored in digital art and computer science or having them as a hobby (i.e.AVN's). Again nothing to stop the MC 'collaborating' with a female student or teacher in Computer Science Department for movie special effects and post production. The Art teacher/movie route to me seems to offer the widest choice of scenario's and flexability , whilst also being the easiest to control in terms of the number of character introductions.
If your making the game for women or if your making him gay then have him teach art otherwise Computer Science 100%. There is always Health or Physical Education too but I'm already a No More Money fan and would be much happier seeing you spend more time finishing it than start a different game. There is also No More Secrets I would love to have their story continue.
Is the idea of a male art teacher not masculine enough for you? Maybe you need a lesson in the history of Art and the various Art Schools that were set up. Today we have more equality and the sex of the teacher of any subject is irrelevant; it is their competence in the subject and their ability to teach that matters.
Seen as though I am the teacher. The Master.. I choose computer science
Why can't we teach biology to main character?
In my opinion biology is way too simple. It feels a bit limited and yeah I understand that with biology we can start teaching sex ed and so on, but that's about it.
when would season 4 come out forno more money
Next episode will be the first one for season 4, developer indicates possibly later this month for patrons. If you are meaning when season 4 will be available on Steam or something like that, probably not for like at least a year or more, the entire season gets completed first and then put up for sale on Steam, and with 8 ish episodes needed for S4, it will be quite a while until the season has completed in development I'm sure.
Hi Jason , i have a question, what happened to Reject No more. Why there is no progress, it's good game I liked a lot. Is it possible to continue that game.
The Rejected No More game was too big for me alone to handle it. I had to stop the project when my partner decided to quit, so I took the story I planned for Rejected No More and implemented in No More Money in a simpler manner. Also looking back at that game I no longer believe in it. I don't think that game could be as good as I would want to.
Since right now the poll is so evenly split, what if the teacher was a Graphic Design/Digital Arts teacher? So the teacher would need to know and teach both computer skills and artistic skills. It could even get a bit "meta" if one of the classes he taught was how to use Blender or Daz to the students haha. You could still have a scenario where the project would be a video game, but the "Art" of creating it would also be important to the scenario, where models and anatomy and hands-on/analogue art activities are also part of the class environment.
It's an interesting idea and you are right, the poll is too evenly split, so I need to find a way to please everybody
Could the Arts class lead to unsolicited offers of Nude modeling
I have a love of modelling, both art and photo in adult games. The game wouldn't be a bad idea, but art is much stronger for me.
Biology or P.E.
Art, but I'm concerned that giving the player the choice of what type of movie will be made by the students will lead to many extra renderings being required, and will drastically slow down the update schedule for the game.
I agree with that plus you wouldn't be making a movie in art class, that would be film or theater. I think doing an art show would be better, maybe our MC is a known artist and has been featured in other art shows and one of his contacts/FWB could help him do a student teacher before and after type of art show and the content could be the erotic corruption of the students and their exploration though the medium
Art and Theater would lead to the most creative and varied of opportunities along with you being able to insert many popular meta characters and scenes from books, movies, comics, anime, and so on! Art allows for weird characters and moments since people tend to push the line and limit when it comes to ART!
I'm currently not subbed until after the holidays probably but personally I would say art allows for more creative freedom with nude modeling whether he's on the hot seat showing off to the students or a student is posing or even another female teacher just helping out or one of the eccentric mothers of a student who wants to feel beautiful again. There's a lot of ways to bring outside characters that wouldn't normally be in the class with art. Even an actual model character who has nothing to do with the students could be a general romantic interest or a helpful corrupter for our MC, she could model with other students and help tear down walls cause she like us is also a freak. Things like photography could also increase eroticism and introduce other kinks, easily costume/role play as well as rope play like shibari which could be really hot and erotic, maybe a more shy student who's into it could introduce us or we introduce them and that could lead into other types of bdsm and pet play. Sculpting would give our characters an excuse for physical contact, we've all seen movie scenes where a big strong guy wraps his arms around a woman on a pottery wheel and helps guide her hands. Maybe there's a little size queen who's making a rather large toy for herself with a certain likeness to our mc after he did some posing. There's so many possibilities with art and it still easily allows you to bring in more characters outside of your students with parents coming in to model or you teach an after hours art class or maybe you're just a damn good artist and you're featured in a month long art show that reveals new prices regularly so you have a constant crowd you can meet and introduce to your more erotic work. A woman looks at your shibari photographs and asks "how does one become a model for you". Art can be as erotic as you want it to be. For computer science I can't think of any way to make it erotic and sexy in a comparable way that also flows naturally and makes sense. Our character can be an incredibly fashionable attractive and intelligent character (*edit* I don't mean for them to be a pushover or simp but more charasmatic and he knows it but in a charming not cocky way.) with art that feels natural and naturally draws in women that computer science doesn't. Even women into coding aren't getting wet talking about coding, they go to art for that. Hope this makes sense and maybe introduces some new possibilities and exciting ideas regardless of what route you go. Thank you for all your hard work
Also shy librarian bdsm/shibari photoshoot. Think about it.
I'll just let everyone else decide, lol 😆.
Art Class seems more interesting with the movie and can lead to more interesting scenarios with what can be filmed, can't do that for the videogame really, so I hope for art class. Also seems like other choice is irrelevant as of right now and maybe later too, maybe should consider removing it, cause it will take 10% away and wont really be close to winning, so I feel removing it or having a runoff could help and see where those small amount of people would prefer between just the two options, just a suggestion.
I cannot modify a poll post. But every vote will be taken into consideration. If the results will be close for the first two options, then I might combine somehow the two. We take the class and side project from the winning one and I might have the MC teach the other once or twice. If there are a lot of people who vote for other, I might have the teacher do something extra. My goal is to make a game everybody will enjoy
I like art class better as there are a number of activities that can all lead to more fun with the students.
Art class lends itself a lot more to a VN cause you can get into some fun hi-jinks like nude modelling etc
Art class sounds and would look interesting
Artsy fartsy sounds K, though languages or hear me out: teaching Education at a new concept "normal school" at a University that not only teaches one to edmundcate at primary school level but at high school and college levels as well could work too since the artsy fartsy class student body could consist of students that are 19+/-1 years old (sequel opportunity 20+/-1 years olds and 21+/-1 year old) whilst the university students who are receiving education in teaching could be a rotating sideshow of 22 to 25 year olds or what ever freaks of nature who can gain high school diploma at 16 and finish uni at 19. The underlying plot would still be the one you proposed, but they'd be assisting in the new teacher teaching though the uni staff would bear the bulk of that particular field instead of the vocational college staff one of which our protagomist would be. The "normal school" would be under the uni but it's own separate entity other than the university ensures funds and that the class student body gets its share of nerds, slackers and a plenty of normal students in between and similarly bullies and good natured students as well so that the teacher education program gets to touch all the bases teachers are bound to happen upon in their path.
art class
After due consideration I chose the 'Art Class' option. As you mentioned in your preamble the 'Computer Science and hyper-realistec videogame' option would require a select group of students with extensive technical know how and access to computer hardware at home. This would seem to me to limit the types of people getting involved in the project. The 'Art Class and movie' option would seem to me to allow for a more diverse group of students (technical, artistic, clever, naive, eager, lazy, organised, messy, talented and somewhat talentless), and would also allow for maybe some parents to also get involved in various roles in the making of the movie.
I understand what you say, but like I said, I won't limit myself to only nerdy girls and so on. There will be a lot of things to cover for a game and you won't need only type of people. For example we might need a girl that doesn't know much about coding, but knows a lot on 3d modeling (artistic), we might need a clever girl to help us with the plot of the game, we might need a messy one to handle the audio part of the game and so on. I'm sure no matter what is the subject I'll have all sort of people.
Both would open it to more stories, and more character to enjoy stories. For one i like both because if computer science teaches about gaming also, it make good reason for him to teach art also for game developing. We get to enjoy both and one game. i choose other, for reason for both.
Did 'Not More Money' end already?
Not yet. I still have at least one more year to work on, but preparing a new game takes time and I don't want to loose time on things that can be freelanced, so I have started to prepare the next game.
This one is a tough one. Both are interesting, but when I was in college (which was relatively recent) STEM courses were a huge sausage fest. Not that there has to be exclusively women or even a majority. But if it's going to be reasonably realistic, then a COMPSI course will likely only have 1-4 female students. Unless of course that's your plan, to only have a couple of student LI's.
Well luckily for us it won't be too realistic to have a huge sausage fest. Because from what I remember from when I was in college, 70% of the students in those class were guys, 5% were girls and the rest of 25% I wouldn't dare to call the girls. So this won't be realistic in any way.
Bio engineering?
I've seen a few games that revolve around AI sims, so I'm not sure I want to copy their stories, but this does sound interesting.
