Weekly Report 254 - No More Money
Hi everyone,
I come with both good and bad news.
Due to extreme temperatures and bad power infrastructure in my country over the past week, I have experienced daily power outages starting around 6 PM, sometimes even earlier, lasting until morning. From what I understand, the infrastructure cannot sustain such temperatures, and everyone turning on their AC when they get back from work doesn't help either.
Because of this, I had to wake up at 5 AM to work for 10-12 hours before the power was cut off, which surprisingly turned out to be good. I managed to be more productive in the morning than usual, so this is the good news. This week, I managed to complete around 250 scenes. To put it in perspective, the first episode of No More Money had around 250 renders, so doing this many renders in one week is amazing.
The bad news is that I'm really behind with rendering. As you know, I have two machines: my old machine, which I use for rendering 24/7, and another machine that I use for work during the day and for rendering at night. However, since I was without power for half of the day for a whole week, my old machine was only able to render a 600-frame animation, while the other machine didn't do a single render.
Hopefully, things will be better next week.
Bests,
Jason

Don't worry about being behind. You are a BOSS!!! 5AM!!! No, thank you; that's too early for me, fam. I only wake up that early on accidents, lol. Thank you for your hard work and commitment! We appreciate it, and you. I hope the situation gets better for you. ❤️ And thanks for the awesome Image!
thanks for letting us know; you just do what you can when you can, and it'll be fantastic whenever its ready
power outages suck but keep up the work man never let anything stop you making a great game
Sorry to hear the bad news. I hope everything turns out better in the future. Thanks for the update! 🙌🙏
Wow at this point i can def tell he is full of BS... and i say this cuz i'm from the same country as he is... there were a few power outages but nothing major and unusual... this guy is on a beach with his cocktail and doesn't know what excuse to say...
So the entire country would have power issues and outages at the same time? Perhaps the power issues are somewhat regional, don't know, but I'm willing to give RC the benefit of the doubt and besides....he's still putting out a lot of hours and effort during the week. Did you read the part where he did as many renders this week alone that were in the entire first episode?
I live in Ukraine and I also have blackouts. And where is RoyalCandy from?
I'm from Romania. We are experiencing more or less the same heatwave.
Thank you sir for your absolute commitment to this project, despite obvious outside issues, your efforts are greatly appreciated :) The amount of time you put into the project is amazing salute! P.S. Tris is DAMN HOT !!!
