DLC extracting guide (Windows)
Double click on the downloaded ZIP file. Depending on your system and installed programs it will either open the ZIP file or extract it. If it extracts it - open the extracted folder. Either way you should see DLC folders now
In another window open the game folder. (usually C:/Program Files (x86)/EA Games/The Sims 4 )
Drag folders from the window opened in the first step, to the window opened in the second step. Merge folders if asked. Replace files if asked.
Do not rename the DLC folders! The game expects them to have names like EP01, EP02, etc. If you rename them - they won't work!

Hi, I have some DLC that were installed awhile ago and some of them are half working for example cottage living everything works but I can't have access to the lots of that world? And now the Royalty pack that I downloaded a few months ago (but I tried adding it to my game today) won't be recognized by the game. Any tips pls ?
I cannot get it to work for me either. I drag and drop and i use the dlc unlocker after but when the game is running it isn't there
I have the same problem, were you able to figure that out ?
OK TY NO PAYWALL PLS
its says owned but not installed on the game
Were you able to figure it out?
Hello, i am putting the folder into the sims folder and its not working is there a particular location i need to put it in
i can help you if you need it!
Hiiii, should I put it in the Mods folder or just in the generic sims4 folder? Im noticing I get the worlds however I am unable to play in them. I have updates the DLC unlocker as well as the Sims game
Question! I have never used this kind of system before. What happens when there is an update on the game? Usually with CC, we delete them from mod folders and then reupload. What to do with these?
These aren't CC. They're the full DLC, so when the game updates, you just need to reinstall the DLC unlocker.
i have Program Files (x86) and EA Games folders but not The Sims 4 so can the folders can go anywhere else?
Right-click on the SIMS 4 icon on your desktop and then open file path. This will show you the folder where you installed it.
