DLC Unlocker — Fixing the “DLC Not Owned” Error
Open the DIC Unlocker setup file and click Open Config Folder. This will open File Explorer, where you’ll find the The Sims 4 .ini configuration file. Delete that file, then return to the DIC Unlocker.
Press Q to exit the application, reopen it, and run Install Config again to reinstall the The Sims 4 configuration file.
If the game still says the DLC is not owned, your configuration file is likely outdated. I will upload a new DLC Unlocker.

The royalty and legacy DLC doesn't unclock and the game tells me that i don't own the packs but i habe them in-game
try the new dlc updater!!! and if it dont work after the new dlc unlocker than download the updated ep!!!

This is really cool! I am Having aproblem I see no one else having, so I might just be stupid. It says the DLC content is unavailible till it is downloaded fully?
hey this is really cool, i think i'm having the same problem as someone else in the comments: i downloaded the DLC unlocker and it seems to be working swimmingly! it says all the packs are owned but "preordered and not available for download." i think i just have to add in the actual DLC files, but I am completely stumped on how to do that, and i've been sitting here for a couple hours. any help? 😅
hi! i've written a (hopefully) helpful tutorial, but this only works for Windows: 0.) Download whichever DLC you want. It will be a zip 1.) Double click your .zip file of whichever DLC you want. DONT unzip it. Keep it open as a new window and put it to the side! 2.) Navigate to your "This PC" folder in your sidebar of the file explorer! 3.) Open your "Windows(C:)" folder 4.) From there, open your "Program Files" folder. Not the "Program Files (x86)", those are two separate things. 5.) Open your "EA Games" folder! 6.) Open your "The Sims 4" folder! 7.) Now that you've hopefully gotten to where you see "_Installer", "Data", "Delta", "Game", and "Support", go back to the DLC zip file you double clicked on (opened) and DRAG the DLC and _Installer files DIRECTLY into your "The Sims 4" folder. A popup will come up that says 6 files have the same name, but it's alright. Click "Replace the files in the destination"! 8.) It's going to say "provide administrator permission to copy to this folder". Make sure "Do this for all current items" is checked (it should be next to a blue checkmark) and click Continue. It will copy all the files to the "The Sims 4" folder, giving you the DLC. 9.) Run your game and make sure everything works, and you should have said DLC! i'm sorry if this is hard to follow, i remember a tutorial off of reddit but i can't find it at the moment, i hope this is helpful though :)
I’m having problems with my dlc unlocker for Mac and it saying in game that the dlc are not downloaded
i dowloqanded the new unlocker from ur page but the last 2 eps are still not showing up in my game :((
