Okay so this one's a little different. Remember when you guys kept asking for someone who actually hates you? Yeah... meet Malfoid.
(I'm sorry. I know she's a meme character. But I had to play with her a bitttttt lol)
She's not even in your block. She's from St. Aldwyn's, a whole other prison, and you get sent over there as the guest warden. Once you get your first promotion, a little crest shows up on the facility and it glows until you open it. Tap it and an owl brings you an invitation. (yes, an owl. don't ask. it made sense at 3am)
Over there it's just you and her. No rounds, no fights, nobody watching. She hates you on sight... and she hates even more that she keeps letting you back in. Ten tiers of that, every single one a fight, and you get all of them. I'll let you find out the rest yourself haha
She also took over the title screen, so... you'll meet her before you even press start.
Sneaking out is new too! You know the empty bunk on night rounds, where you could only cover for her or report her? Now you can go look for her. Three doors, she's behind one, and if you take too long she beats you back to bed lol. Every girl has her own spot after lights out. Ellen is asleep on the warm dryer, Jinx is building something that is "ninety percent not a bomb", Reze stole pudding... and when you find them, well... they really don't want you writing it up. Every girl has her own full scene for it. (Frieren's isn't in yet, she's still deciding where she hides. soon.) Some other stuff:
Rover got reanimated. Her scenes just move better now.
The rank thing is fixed. Someone was on day 94 and still hadn't been promoted (sorry!!). Promotions now also come from time served, so long runs don't get stuck anymore, and old saves catch up on their own.
Idle loops are always muted now. No more girls talking over each other while they're just standing in their cell.
New intro trailer, and everything's translated into all 14 languages like always.
Also, a small confession... if Chisa or the dinner dates were missing or acting weird for you in 1.7, that was me. A build hiccup ate some files and I didn't catch it until now. They're back in 1.8. My bad on that one.
As always, thank you guys so much for sticking around. Every update feels like I'm cramming one more girl into a building that's already way too full... and you keep showing up for it anyway. Seriously, it means a lot.
