This is just me playing around, but i want to share it with you guys, try it maybe?
The Game?
You are something. Working somewhere as something. The somewhere opens at something o'clock and closes whenever the last someone finally finishes their something and goes home.
Most nights are the same. Someone sits down. Someone wants something. You make something. They drink something. They leave. You clean something. You go home to somewhere. You sleep on something. You wake up. You come back. You do something all over again.
It was fine. It was something.
Then sometime during some shift, something changed.
Someone came in. Sat somewhere specific. Didn't say something at first. Just looked at the something behind the counter like they were looking for something they'd lost somewhere a long time ago. Then they said something. Something specific. Something you'd never heard anyone order before but somehow, somehow, you knew exactly what to put in it.
You made something. They drank something. Something shifted in the somewhere. Something shifted in the someone. They looked at you like you were something. Not just the something behind the counter. Something something.
Something happened after the somewhere closed.
It was something. It was really, really something. The kind of something you think about on the way home. The kind of something that makes you show up to the somewhere the next night wondering if the same someone will come back and order the same something. The kind of something that makes the something feel less like a something and more like a somewhere you actually want to be.
They came back.
They weren't the only something.
Suddenly the somewhere was full of someones all wanting something specific. Something strong. Something sweet. Something slow. Something that burns a little on the way down. Something you have to shake. Something you have to stir. Something you have to pour very, very carefully or something goes wrong. Or right. Depending on what kind of something you're into.
Every something is different. Every someone wants a different something. And every time you make the right something for the right someone, something happens. Sometimes something quick. Sometimes something that lasts until the somewhere is dark and the somethings are all washed and the only things left are you and the someone and whatever something comes next.
You still don't know what you are. You still don't know what this somewhere is. You still don't fully understand why the somethings you make do what they do to the someones who drink them.
But every night you put on something, stand behind something, and make something for someone.
And something always happens next.
Something always, always happens next.
