Overview:
This very small update changes the behavior of saving settings data that caused ModGuard to issue false positives.
In the previous update (v1.2.2), settings were saved to a temporary file before overwriting the file in your saves folder. This is the robust way to save data, since a crash mid-save won't impact the live game data. However, ModGuard interpreted this as a malicious script attempting to overwrite game code and run code in the background.
This update now saves setting data directly to the settings.json file in your saves folder. It is a slightly less robust way of saving data, but it no longer causes any ModGuard issues.
Just to be clear: this mod never downloaded anything or called any external executables, ModGuard just has very aggressive message phrasing. Apologies to those of you who may have seen a warning, and thanks to Patrons who brought it to my attention.
