A Welcome and a Roadmap (sorta)

Welcome and thank you to everyone here! I wasn't expected so many of you so quickly. It feels great that you all are interested in my work, so thank you all so much for being here.

I thought I would take a minute to provide some details that hopefully approximate a roadmap. I'll break this into two sections, since there are two sections to this page.

1. Clothing CC

I'll be releasing a couple new clothing pieces in the next day or two - a mini party dress and a crop top. My plan is to work on building a library of basics that can be used in a wide range of outfits and categories before making more niche items. Hopefully you all are alright with getting lots of simpler things from me for a bit.

I'd love to hear from you all on what sort of CC you prefer, whether it's things that slip open, things that turn sheer, certain clothing types, or things for certain CAS categories. None of us play The Sims in the same way, so I'd love to hear what might be missing from your playthroughs.

2. Clothing controller

My main focus at the moment is adding support for Wicked Whims Undressables and fixing a few bigger bugs that users have noticed, mainly around stuck clothing after changing lots. This update will release in a couple days.

Following that, I plan on improving Sim responses to clothing events and taking a first pass at a user preference menu. These Sim responses will be things like more in-depth and varied reactions from NPCs, more detailed reactions from Sims with slipped or sheer clothing, and fine tuning Trait tests and moods.

In short, my planned development process is this:

v1.0.0 (current) -> v1.1.0 (Undressables support) -> v1.2.0 (Immersion and user preferences).

Regarding tiers and public releases of the Clothing Controller Framework, my intention is to have the newest version posted here for you all and to provide some Patron-only features.

At this point the user preferences menu, or at least a complex version of it, is likely to be one of those features. Granular control over how this framework impacts your gameplay feels like a good additional reward for being a supporter.

My plan for now is that when a new version of this framework is released, the previous version goes public (probably posted on loverslab). I don't have a release schedule, so some Patreon releases will spend more time as the newest exclusive version than others.

Thanks again for your support, and for taking the time to read all this. Or at least skim it.
