The price of ZR2 is a one time purchase of $9. If you are an active $5+ ZR2 Patron, you can download the game at no additional cost! Keep in mind, the $9 purchase is one-time only so future updates will release at no additional cost. The climactic finale to the Zombie's Retreat 2 story is here!
The final showdown is ready to begin. So long as Meredith is willing to go along with the plan! In order to begin the new story events, you will need to have completed the previous story events with Lucy and Misty.
Additionally, you will need to have rescued at least 5 survivors and Meredith must be at a 3-heart relationship. From there, talking to Lucy should progress the new story events naturally.
The Zombie's Retreat 2 storyline is something that I have been working on for several years now. I've grown deeply attached to the Zombie's Retreat story and these characters that have brought life to the game. I hope you enjoy playing through it as well!
== Meredith ==
Meredith is central to this update, being an important character to this main story, but also being the focus of new content.
Along with the main story content, there are new interactions to experience with Meredith if you've already completed her previous story events. Talking with her should naturally progress to these new events.
== Z-Choice ==
The infamous Z-Choice returns in v1.0 of Zombie's Retreat 2! During a certain point in the story, you will be able to make an important choice that will change how certain events happen.
Will you pick the Fate of Lust? A raw and unfiltered story that further explores the motivations of various characters? Or will you choose the Fate of Passion? A more light-hearted telling of events that follows a classic story-telling of events.
Both options are perfectly canon so there is no right or wrong choice.
WARNING: The Fate of Lust contains themes/topics that some viewers may find upsetting or disturbing. If you are concerned about this, choose the Fate of Passion! If you prefer a deeper narrative experience, even if it's not always pleasant, the Fate of Lust is better suited for you.
== Bugs & Savings ==
v1.0 took quite a while to make and is easily my most ambitious update to date. This means the opportunity for hidden bugs and sequence breaks is ripe. Be sure to save often and frequently in separate save slots! I have tried my best to test this update and fix bugs as best as I can, but if there are issues with progression or any sort of softlocks, let me know over on the Discord channel and I will try my best to fix them as soon as reasonably possible.

Why did I only trigger two scenes? One is the scene from the night before the mission, and the other is the NTR kiss scene (if it counts as a new scene). Where's the third one

Congratulations on wrapping up the main storyline of this work!🥹 I have a couple of questions I’d love to ask. Will characters that appeared in Season 1 get any crossover appearances in future updates? Is there a plan to converge the plotlines of the two seasons into a unified narrative? I’m genuinely curious about where the protagonists from the first installment will end up in the long run, and it would mean a lot to see their fates addressed eventually.

Started a new game with the 1.0 update and there seems to be a bug after rescuing Olivia. After returning home with her, if I step out of the house I can't seem to move anymore. Both mouse inputs and keyboard inputs don't seem to do anything and the MC is stuck in front of the house. I already tried changing the time but nothing changed.

I’ve been an on and off patron but damn, I still remember when I saw that there was a spiritual successor to A Zombie’s Life all those years ago. And now I get to see the end of the second game. Time really does fly by, huh?
If I buy the game, will there be no more payments for future updates?

Will there be a release for Macs or the current release works for both?
There is no Mac build, however I believe a viable alternative is using an Android emulator. I think there are a few methods that work for PC builds as well that you might be able to look into.
