Progress Report | Nearing Completion

Hey everyone!

I've been receiving a lot of questions about the Zombie's Retreat 2 v1.0 release so I wanted to update you all on how things are going!

== v1.0 Progress ==

Right now, I would say that the v1.0 progress is about 70-80% complete. I'm in the final stretches of the story content and feel really good about how things are shaping up.

Development has been going great and there's some really cool stuff here that I can't wait for you all to try! But I've been working on v1.0 for quite a while now and I'm noticing that as of late, I'm feeling quite ready to finish the update so I can rest for a bit.

As a reminder, ZR2 won't be fully complete with the release of v1.0. The story will have a proper conclusion but I still have more updates planned!

In order to pace myself a bit better, some bonus features and ideas that were planned for v1.0 might get pushed to later updates. Features like Hardcore difficulty mode and some of the new facilities may not be ready either just yet.

My priorities are the main story and the teased NSFW content that Patrons have seen. I think these are the things most of you are most interested in too!

== Release Window ==

Originally, I made a confident announcement that v1.0 would release this month. And I think that still should be possible. However, I am watching the calendar and noticing this month is quickly ticking away.

Right now, I'm still pushing to release v1.0 by the end of the month! But, there is a slim possibility that I push the release back in July to give myself some significant breathing room.

I don't suspect I'll need that delay but I do want to inform you all that it is something that could happen. If it is needed, I will let you all know but for now, I'm keeping my sights set on a June release!

Once I have an official release date, I'll share it with you all immediately! And once I've determined a date, it shouldn't be a long wait from that point. So keep your eyes peeled!
