We’re in trouble…

Trump 1.0, we must ban TikTok, it is a threat to national security. Trump 2.0: TikTok helped me win my second term. Let's get a group to buy it from ByteDance (CCP). Hypocritical.

I never saw tiktok from first person perspective. I am not as young and I'm not American either. But nowadays USA is doing it's remake of General hostility so well it bothers me much more than the Chinese original. Stop the Republican shit and return to reasonable conservative politics, otherwise I can't stop sympathizing with the Democrat opposition. Greatings from central Europe where we won over socialism almost 40 years ago thanks to USA's help of course and I loved you for it. But your current administration is destroying it with unbelievable speed. Cheers

Where have you been, saying children are being taught "capitalism" is evil, only now? Greed has been a near universal human vice since the beginning of civilization, our civilization has simply confused greed and business acumen, something even Adam Smith warned about. The formalized and regulated pair bonding is also something that has been controversial since the beginning as well, but a social construct, we have spent most of our specie's tenure without such regulations, we can live without it. The political system of the USA has failed so miserably that the only 2 choices are literally the choice of thr lesser evil from one's own perspective. Along with that, both ends of the political system lie through their false teeth to motivate their bases to greater and greater depravity. We are one maybe two generations away from another civil war, between how the USA will abandon their freedoms, as there is no one left within the political elites thst care about such things when their own power takes priority (because that has been the only incentive for so long).

I have grown incredibly cynical over the past 5 years, to the point I will gladly watch the world burn caused by their own folly. This side of myself terrifies me.

Why were not the prior attempts to ban TikTok successful? There were at least 2 or 3 attempts to ban it outright in the USA. I believe the app is officially banned on all US military smart devices but that doesn't go far enough.
