The Ideology of Resident Evil

After your call out to your new Red Planet show on twitch I watched an episode. Loved it. Joined the tenants union and the disability union. I have definitely felt hopeless, being diagnosed with a cardiac problem mere months after my 30th birthday didn't help. Thank you for the hope Sophie, it was in short supply
Thanks so much for your hard work! Excited to keep supporting and appreciating you and your work in 2022 :)
The thing about slavery being legal in the *entire* U.S. is, mercifully, slightly outdated...in that Colorado, specifically, finally voted to abolish it in 20-fucking-18. And this only happened after a shitload of grassroots action and the 2018 midterms. In a way, that's even worse: just getting something so basic as "let's not have actual, literal slavery" took us until 2018, and near as I can tell, exactly ONE state did that. Just the one! And what that shows is that no, this isn't just pig ignorance from Americans. We *know* slavery is still legal in most of the country...we just don't actually care all that much, except for Colorado, apparently.
That's super interesting and so depressing lol
So question: What can I look up to find the CIA/Norway experiments? I mostly just find stuff about LSD in the 60s and Bender's ECT stuff.
That *sniff* after "ideology" was *chef's kiss*
Ooh, thassa good intro
CIA Femboy noooooooooo
Fell asleep after watching it, video slaps, Sophie 🤌🤌🤌
I have to slurp up your delicious content don't I?
Thank you for everything you do.
I don't know which ending I like better, the chilling naming of The Mold, or the shining truthbomb of police being dog murdering scum
I know this is a nitpick and I can't fault you for not knowing this because it's mentioned exactly once in an optional file in some RE7 DLC, but Capcom has explained what the new Umbrella company is. After Umbrella was dissolved, a group of "former employees trusted by the US government," according to the wiki, reformed the company with the explicit goal of assisting nations and groups like the BSAA fight bioweapons. Chris also doesn't work for them, he just assisted in the RE7 stuff as a cooperation between the BSAA and Blue Umbrella. Again, this is not well explained, and it's incredibly easy to miss, but you spend a good chunk of time talking about this and I couldn't help myself. https://residentevil.fandom.com/wiki/Blue_Umbrella
This is tha moment that I'm really glad I went with Sophie when I could only afford to keep one Patreon payment going
Holy shit this is going on as soon as I finish this movie (it won’t be long, Borimir is dying)
