Here's the preview of our next Honest Government Ad.
This is our last Honest Government Ad for 2021.
It's also the first one in our coverage of the 2022 Australian election shitshow. So I thought we'd bring back the beloved Shit & Shit-Lite Parties to explain what a Hung Parliament is. Since that is a very likely outcome of this coming election.
The election will only be sometime between March-May. But I wanted to get this video out nice and early to give people time to digest it over the holidays.
Coz we're going to see a lot of fear-mongering about hung parliaments and minority governments in the coming months. So I wanted to do something that helps to equip people with a better understanding of what these things are. And to show how they can actually be good outcomes - if not the best outcomes - in terms of electing a Government that can end this shit-stained chapter of our history.
If you haven't seen our Honest Government Ad about Preferential Voting, I encourage you to check it out. Once it's published, this new video will act as part 2 to it: explaining what happens if a Not-Shit candidate is elected to parliament.
A reminder that this is just the audio preview; and a lot of things will make more sense once you can see the visuals.

What we NEED is minors and independents that drag the majors towards LESS shit policies and actions.
The danger is that some of the minors and independents make the shit party look like socially responsible altruists.
yes, that is why we call them Not-Shit candidates. To distinguish them from the Shit Indys and Shit 3rd parties out there. People need to read the candidate's policies before voting for them :)

I love it cannot wait to post it all over Facebook again as I have a few people saying I am wasting my vote and I always just respond then you don't understand how our voting system actually works and then they really don't like me even more lol
Crucial to teach people how to preference after your 1st choice. It's usually second and sometimes third choice you pick will receive our vote. Always put who you are sure you don't won't out the two major parties last or you end up voting for who you place highest out of ALP, LNP.

This is great and so important. Independents are the way to go.
Love it ... the message though is not restricted to Australia! It is truly a message that applies to all the major democracies in the world - even those who have government assemblies that aren't called "Parliament" ...

Preferential voting is just starting to make inroads in some lower tier elections - let's hope the movement catches on. We definitely need more players in the game.
