Hello again Patrons, a quick follow up to let you know our Melbourne Cup Honest Governemnt Ad is back up. Apologies for the stuff-around and thank you for your patience.
For those asking why we took the video down: turns out some of those associated with this whole industry don’t particularly like being associated with it after all 🤷♀️ So we’ve made some tweaks and blurred out every face – including the racehorses just in case (hey you never know right?) - because ultimately we want the focus to be on the treatment of the racehorses and the industry behind the Melbourne Cup.

DEAR PATRONS, apologies for the extra post but I just wanted to let you know that we had to remove our Melbourne Cup video due to multiple threats of legal action. It turns out that many of those associated with the racing and racehorse slaughter industry don't want to be associated with those things after all.
But it's okay, we are currently preparing a modified version of the video which we'll republish soon.
I just wanted to keep our Patrons in the loop. But if it's not too much to ask, please keep this to yourselves - we'd like it to be a surprise :)

Here's the latest Honest Government Ad you've helped us to make!
As I said in my preview post, it's not the typical HGA issue - there are so many things going on in the world right now - and we'll deal with them in the coming HGAs.
But I wanted to take the opportunity to make a video about this topic in the lead up to the Melbourne Cup - which falls on the first Tuesday of November (a public holiday for us in the state of Victoria) - because it shits me to know that so many good people are unwittingly supporting animal cruelty for the purpose of entertainment and money-making, and raising their children to normalise this shitshow as a nice family tradition.
The Honest Government Ads have the power now to inform a significaint number of people, so I thought we'd use this episode to help shine some light on what really goes down at the Melbourne FuCUP - so that folks can decide whether it's something they really want to support.
As always, thank you for making it possible for us to do this important awarenes-raising work.
