Dear Patrons, here's the preview of the next Honest Government Ad!
The Federal Budget is being announced today, so what better time for the Government to give the nation an honest explanation of its economic policy?
Am planning to publish this one in a couple of days, once the dust settles around the Government's satirical budget. (Provided my computer doesn't start crashing again T_T)

We do not have an alternative to the bicameral government system (as yet) Both sides are conservative, US-sucking neocons who are in the same boat paddling like mad to Washington.
Left Wing?? What left wing? that bird flew the coup as soon as Bob Hawk got his wings and flew off to America to give them permission to dock nuclear-driven ships in our ports. Left wing indeed!!!!
Just wondering, will you at some stage be making a video that highlights the fact that with our preferencial voting system the way it is, the same bird always gets elected. The only thing different is that it is either the left wing playing the hand dealt to them, or it is the right. wing.

I can’t think of any genius “Authorised by …”. You guys are the expert on that front. I'm sure you'll come up with something great again. But since you’ve asked, I’ve tried to come up with something. The one thing that I’ve been amazed by (and which I think is missing from your story, but probably deserves a whole dedicated video) is the size of the debt; and the fact that tackling the “Debt and Deficit” was the mantra of the Coalition not long ago, and suddenly it’s all about the shift from “Deficit to Surplus”, and any talk of Debt has totally disappeared from their talking points. This is hardly surprising given that, as Alan Austin (via @MichaelWestBiz) reports: “The Coalition has added more debt in five and a half years than all governments over the preceding 118 years”. But maybe something about along those lines, that is, something using the formula “your ………… is our …………”. Or something with “pie” in the “Authorised by”. Something like “Authorised by the Department of Pie in the Sky”. I’m sure you can come up with a much better line, but it was fun giving this a go.

Really good one! Really does break things down on the whole swindle called "the budget" and the "growning economy". It would have been good though perhaps to add some more from Modern Monetary Theory, about how the balanced budget thing is bs really (and the budget surplus aim even worse, and not something to boast about).
Watch out with MMT. My economist friends all seem to think it's a swindle. It doesn't account for people skipping out on your currency (e.g. Cambodia pretty much just uses USD despite technically having their own currency). If you print too much money, it's still bad for you.
I would like to see if there are figures on people accessing their superannuation, has that increased either 1. the number of people accessing and or 2. The dollar terms has it increased.
Given they're trying to sell us imported toxic bs (the budget - a healthy, nutritious and sustainable looting operation by the international cabal) labeled "safe for human consumption" (by the sales spin about to be televised) -- This imported piece of toxic bs has been classified as a consumable product by the departments of smuggling , bioinsecurity and "fake food" safety authorised by the Minister for Elite Health, Canberra
