Honest Government Ad | Renewables
Dear Patrons,
here's the latest Honest Government Ad you've helped us to produce.
I don't say this lightly, I reckon this one of the most important ones we've made.
See, when I started working on this HGA, I thought it was going to be a really depressing topic. But I was so wrong! I am SO inspired to learn that we're on the cusp of a HUGE renewables boom in Australia - like, it's literally happening *despite* the Government's lack of leadership (which is a good thing, coz if the fate of humanity ever depended on them we'd all be screwed)
The problem however, is that the Federal Govt could still delay the inevitable transition by more than a decade if it manages to implement its current NEG policy. So we really need as many people as possible to know, and get excited about, how close we are to making history happen!
Which is why I feel this HGA is so important.
I also wanted to let you know that, thanks to the success of this series, more and more awesome people are offering their expertise to help me improve my work. For this video, I had the privilege of talking to experts in the Renewables and transition industry, who were extremely generous with their time.
One of them is a Patron who contacted me to offer their help and gave valuable input for the script. (Take a bow, Geoff - thanks for your awesome help!)
I love it when this happens and it gives me renewed hope for what we can achieve with this project - which, thanks to you, is helping to frame the discourse and raise awareness about some of the most important issues of our times. All through #GenuineSatire of course ;)
Ok, I've crapped on long enough - check out the vid. I hope you like what you've helped us to create.
Thank you for keeping us going strong and catch you for our next upload!

In the past you mentioned plans of also covering international topics. Is that still a thing you plan to do? I also enjoy these Australian topic videos of course, great work on this one as well, but as a non-Australian I’d be even more so excited about other/international topics.
Hi Jan! Thank you for reminding me that there is hunger for more international content on the Juice Media :) I'm really glad you liked this latest HGA - which of course, although focusing on Australia, deals with an issue affecting pretty much everyone on this planet... coz let's face it, if "developed" industrial high-emission nations like Australia don't lead the way in tackling climate change, what chance do we have of doing so globally? But yeah that being said, I hear you! I have such a long list of countries I want to make HGAs about - it's certainly not from a lack of interest that I've not made a non-Aussie video since December. It's more to do with the fact, that some of the topics I want to cover would really benefit from collaborations with folks in those countries - and this takes time to do. But I'm on it :)
🖤👍🏼
