UPDATE: New Video & Switching to Monthly Payments!
Ahoy Patreon crew, I know you're busy but please lend me your eyeballs for a minute - I have 2 quick Updates for y'all :)
1. I'm working on a new Honest Government Advert: Visit Puerto Rico - and I can't wait to release it in a few days because, following the Visit Hawai'i video, I had a crazy number of Puerto Ricans message me and ask me to make this video. So of course I just HAD to do it!
I knew very little about Puerto Rico's situation, so I had to do a fair bit of research to understand it, before trying to sum it up, let alone satirise it.
Which brings me to my Second Update!
2. Because this video required more research than usual, I'm struggling to do all the finishing touches by June 30 (which is Patreon's deadline for creators like me, who charge on a per-video basis).
Which is kinda annoying because I really only need an extra day or two to finish this video properly, to make sure it's excellent.
So I figured: rather than rush and have to cut corners just to get the video up a couple of days earlier, I can switch this account over to a MONTHLY payment system.
What does that mean?
Well, nothing for you: whatever amount you pledge per video will be the same amount that you pledge per month; and I will still always make at least one video every month - so you're still getting the same value for your contribution.
It just means that when I'm making a slightly more demanding video, like this one, I can have a bit more time up my sleeve and not have to stress like a sleep-deprived maniac.
So is everyone cool with this?
Before switching to Monthly payments I wanted to let all of you know so that you're aware of the change. If I decide to do this (I'm still weighing it up) then you will be charged on July 1st. And the July video (ie Visit Puerto Rico) will come a day or two after :)
If you have any questions or concerns, please shoot!
As always, massive gratitude for supporting my work,
Giordano

Thanks man, any more rap themed videos for the future? Its what made me fall in love with this channel in the first place :)
We'll make another Rap News special edition as soon as we can :) Mantra and Class A are busy mofos, but as soon as we find a time that works for all of us, we'll do it!
I too prefer monthly payments. It is much easier for the patron to budget. As long as the artist keeps creating there is no issue. Out of the 6 people I support on Patreon only one charges per item. Everyone else is monthly. Looking forward to the new (not rushed) video. Peace
I agree Sallita - I'll give this a try and see how it works out
Monthly is better. It wasn’t ever clear to me that you were only intending to do one video a month. My biggest concern when I signed up was that my money would get burned up in a matter of weeks if you did 10 videos all at once. With a monthly payment, I can budget for your contribution instead of having to guess how many videos you intend to do.
Thanks Nick. (I wish I *could* do 10 videos all at once!)
Switch to monthly!
Done!

Cool man, keep going and never change :)
:) thx
I think monthly is a good way to go, people can better predict their outgoing pledge amounts. Hope this helps make income for you more predictable as well :)
Yes I hope so too Darren - let's see how it goes!
fine by me.
yay :)
Fine by me :)
