Sunset looked like Napoli tonight. Hit different

Shoot in LA this weekend. Tiny hotel, dark walls, wooden chair that probably costs more than my rent in Brooklyn. But that sunset through the window stopped me mid-frame. Palms, hills, golden light. For a second it smelled like home. Like nonna’s balcony in Posillipo.
I sat there for 20 minutes doing nothing. Just breathing. Haven’t done that in months.
