WHY MY FAMILY DOES NOT PRACTICE EASTER
Mainstream churches get their day for Easter worship based on the spring equinox. Thus, Easter could be anytime within a 40-45 day period. This method of dating was taken from pagans who worshipped Ishtar on the day of equinox. Christians don't know the exact day Christ rose from the dead. Christians did not celebrate Easter until late in the 2nd century. It was later standardized in 325 A.D., by Constantine, to coincide with the spring equinox practiced by pagans. The purpose was to attract more pagans to Christianity.
Easter is mentioned once in the Book of Acts. King Herod celebrated Easter (Ishtar), and was waiting for the celebrations to end before killing Peter. It was during the days of unleavened bread, which means Easter and Passover did not occur on the same day, as Passover precedes the days of unleavened bread, and had already passed.

alone in my house inside of a hoodie-sweater. everyone downstairs around me telling me im "not acting christian" because im not celebrating easter, and they are confused as to why King Charles did not give easter-message this year, either (IDK), yet he did Ramadans. i dont want to support any of this easter stuff (superstitions aside, unless i would prescribe them magical powers also), .....based on the timing (worshipping stars/planets) alone. (guys..no wonder i never know when easter is...it keeps changing..) people literally dancing around me saying jesus over and over and over, and how chickens represent life, trying to get me to eat buns (bread-cakes) and fish, telling me to eat fish/cakes for good friday/something-sunday, that its an english tradition (AFAIK none of these people have any sort of religion declared). i have no problem with spring, finally some sunlight in UK, pretty flowers, candy, bread, and fish etc (1 Corinthians 8:4-13), i just dont want to join-in happily (i cant) and will not acknowledge it in any formal way, or [go] [start] [give] events around it theres much debate around these things and i dont think i can find out that sorta history or myths (i have read the pdfs/books) neither do i want to anymore. i just know theyre not celebrating Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth with eggos and wreathes. there is also Romans 14 but id rather be away from it all currently. thanks for posting this (they will not listen regardless, and do not care about my feelings, so im better-off up here)
